Continue to follow RTE-4. Go 23.5 miles to Crash Road in Livermore. Turn slight left onto Crash Rd. Go 4.3 miles to Riley Road in Jay. Turn left onto Riley Rd. Go 0.9 miles Main Parking lot and Security Entrance is located on the left. Coming from the North - From Farmington (from intersection of US RT 2 with RT Main St., Farmington, ME): Travel west on RT- 2, RT-4. Go 7.75 miles to intersection of RT- 2 with RT-4 in Wilton. Turn slight left onto Main St/RT-4. Go 5.8 miles to Riley Road in Jay. Turn right onto Riley Rd. Go 1.5 miles Main Parking lot and Security Entrance is located on the left. Coming from the East - From Augusta (from intersection of US I-95 with RT-202): Travel west on Western Ave/RT-202. Go 9 miles to intersection with RT-133 in Winthrop. Merge onto RT 133 toward Readfield/Winthrop/Wayne. Go 17.4 miles to Depot St in Livermore Falls. Turn slight left onto Depot St/RT-17/RT-133. Continue to follow Depot St/RT-17. After 0.2 miles, Depot Street turns right and becomes Main Street/RT-17. Go 2.6 miles to Riley Road in Jay. Turn left onto Riley Rd. Go 1.5 miles Main Parking lot and Security Entrance is located on the left.

Dority Safety & Performance Training Center 10 Mountain Ave Fairfield, Maine (207) Traveling either North or Southbound - Take I-95 to exit 133 When you come off ramp, head North with the sign saying Jackman/Skowhegan. You will be on Route 201 and as you head north, Dragon Products will be on your right and the first left on Route 201 will be Mountain Ave. Take the first entrance into the parking lot and drive past the main building. Turn left onto Mountain Ave. DOT is the brick building on the corner of Route 201 & Mountain Ave. There will be a blue & white sign on the lawn that says John E. Dority, Safety and Performance Training Center. Take the first entrance into the parking lot and drive past the main building. The class will be held in the Lance Gurney building: After turning into the parking lot, drive past the main building on the right. Stay left and continue up the hill. You will enter a large open parking lot at the top of the hill. Look for a large green building on the left. Enter through the last door on the right. Wednesday, February 27, 2019 FACILITY OPERATION IN COLD CLIMATES YORK SEWER DISTRICT Maintenance Building 21 Bay Haven Road York, ME (207) From I-95 Maine Turnpike: Take Exit 7 toward York/The Berwicks and turn left at the fork and follow signs to York/South Berwick. Turn left towards Route One, then turn left onto U.S. Route One North. Drive approximately 3 miles, then turn right onto Cape Neddick Road. Turn right onto Shore Road then turn left on Bay Haven Road. Entrance to the York Sewer District will be on the right.

4 Tuesday, March 5, 2019 HANDS-ON LABORATORY TRAINING LEWISTON AUBURN WATER POLLUTION CONTROL AUTHORITY 535 Lincoln Street Lewiston, ME (207) From Warren: travel on Route 126 towards Gardiner and merge onto I-95 Southbound towards Lewiston/Auburn. Take Exit 80 towards Route 196/Lewiston. Keep left at the fork, and then turn left onto Alfred A. Plourde Parkway. Turn right onto Goddard Road then turn right onto River Road. (River Road will become Lincoln Street). Go about a third of a mile, The Lewiston Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority building will be 0.36 miles on the left, on the paved road just before the boat launch, and across the road from the Riverview café. From Topsham/Brunswick/Route 1, (and also the I-295 Exit located there): Take Route 196 West for about 15 miles, turn left just past the Lewiston McDonalds Plaza onto South Ave, Turn right at the stop sign onto Lincoln St/River Rd., The Lewiston Auburn Water Pollution Control Authority building is 0.25 miles on the left, on the paved road just before the boat launch, and across the road from the Riverview café. From I-95 Northbound (from Gray, Portland, or points South note, there is a toll): Go North on I-95, (avoid taking the Auburn exit), take Exit 80 Lewiston, take a right off the ramp onto Alfred A. Plourde Parkway, turn right onto Goddard Road then turn right onto River Road at the stop sign (River Road will become Lincoln Street). 5 Tuesday, March 12, 2019 WASTEWATER LABORATORY BASICS Greater Augusta Utility District 33 Jackson Avenue Augusta ME (207) From I-95, take Augusta Exit 109 onto Route 202 East (Western Avenue) towards Augusta. Follow Western Ave. into the rotary and take the first exit onto State Street (Route 201). Continue south on State Street past the State House and down the hill. At bottom of the hill, look for Safelite Autoglass on the left. Turn left onto Jackson Avenue immediately after the Safelite Glass and across from Fat Cats Cafe. (Caution: Jackson Avenue is not well marked). The treatment plant is at the end of Jackson Avenue. Tuesday, March 19, 2019 MAINTENANCE OF ROTATING EQUIPMENT AUGUSTA CIVIC CENTER 110 Community Drive Augusta, ME (207) From north on I-95 take Exit 112. From south on I-95 take Exit 112A You can see the civic center from the exit. Take right into parking lot. Look for directions to meeting room on inside sign.

Turn left on Route 35 (Fletcher Street). At roundabout, exit first right and continue onto Storer Street. At traffic light (intersection of Storer and Main Street), continue straight onto Water Street. The Kennebunk Sewer District s new administrative offices will be on the left. Cross Bridge to Brewer then take Exit 4 to Route 15. Go left onto Route 15 South. Drive approximately 1.5 miles to Oak Street on right just before T.D. s Pizza. Drive to all the way the end

7 Tuesday, April 2, 2019 PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL TREATMENT PROCESS BRUNSWICK SEWER DISTRICT 10 Pine Tree Rd. Brunswick, ME (207) From I-295 take Brunswick Exit. Road will become US Route 1 North. Follow Rte 1 past where it branches left at Pleasant Street...stay on Route 1 for about 2 more miles. Exit Rte. 1 at Cook's Corner exit and proceed to first traffic light at intersection with Bath Road. Turn Right on Bath Road and proceed about 1/2 mile to intersection with Jordan Ave (on Right opposite end of runway at Brunswick Naval Air Station). Turn Right onto Jordan Ave. and proceed for about one mile to Riverview Drive. Turn Right onto Riverview Drive & proceed about 300 feet to fork in road. Stay Right at fork onto Pine Tree Road and proceed about 1/10th mile past the Ice Hockey Rink and The Brunswick Sewer District Wastewater Treatment Plant. 8 Wednesday, April 10, 2019 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FOG Jeff Nixon Development Center PORTLAND WATER DISTRICT OFFICES 225 Douglass Street Portland, Maine (207) Southbound from I-295: Take the Congress St. Exit 5B. Turn right onto Congress Street then immediately take first right onto Douglass St. (Johnson s Sporting Goods on corner of Congress and Douglass Streets). Go to the end. Parking lot is across the street from the training center. Northbound from I-295: Take Congress St. Exit. After exit, move immediately into right lane and stay right around the clover leaf towards Transportation Center. At end of ramp, stay right onto Fore River Parkway. Go straight through one set of lights and continue on Fore River Parkway to end. (Hint: Stay in the middle lane because just ahead the two left lanes will have left arrows onto Congress Street, you will want to be in the outside left turning lane). Turn left on Congress Street then immediately take first right onto Douglass St. (Johnson s Sporting Goods on corner of Congress and Douglass Streets). Go to the end. Parking lot is across the street from the training center.

From the WEST, Just follow U.S. Route 2 East to Farmington. From the NORTH and EAST, Take the Maine Turnpike (I-95) to Exit 157 Palmyra/Newport. Then follow U.S. Route 2 West to Farmington. Wednesday - Thursday, May 15 & 16, 2019 WASTEWATER 101 SACO FIRE STATION 271 North Street Saco, ME (207) From I-95 Maine Turnpike, take Exit 36 to merge onto I-195 towards Saco/Old Orchard Beach. Take Exit 1 for Industrial Park Road then turn left. Turn left onto North Street. The fire station will be on the left.
