1 DIRECTIONS TO THE FIELDS Northwest Connecticut Babe Ruth League AVON AVON HIGH SCHOOL -Traveling east on Route 44, take a right onto Route 167. Continue on Route 167 past the Avon Middle School. The field is on the left at 510 West Avon Road, in front of the high school. AVON MIDDLE SCHOOL - Traveling east on Route 44, take a right onto Route 167. Continue on Route 167 past St. Ann's Church. The field is on the right at 375 West Avon Road in front of the middle school. AVON OLD FARMS - From Route 44 take Old Farms Road to field on the left next to Fisher Meadows. From Route 10 take Old Farms Road to field on the right. It is located next to Fisher Meadows. From Route 4 Take Route 10 then follow directions above. From West Avon Road go past Avon High School take a right onto Scoville Road and then left onto Old Farms Road. The field will be on your right next to Fisher Meadows.

2 BARKHAMSTED RIVERTON BALL FIELD - Traveling west on Route 44 through New Hartford, turn right onto River Road.(Just past Barkhamsted Town Garage) Follow River Rd straight through stop sign at Pleasant Valley Center. (River Rd becomes West River Rd.) and travel three miles to the field on the right (The road runs along the west branch of the Farmington River). Please park in the parking lot past the Little League field on the right. Traveling north on Route 8, turn west onto Route 44 and continue until reaching the Winsted green. Turn right onto old Route 8 and continue north. Turn right at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 20. After passing the Riverton town sign, turn at the next right onto West River Road. The field is located a short distance on the left. Please park in the parking lot adjacent to the Little League field. Traveling east on Route 44, continue through Winsted to the green. Turn left onto old Route 8 and continue north. Turn right at the intersection of Route 8 and Route 20. After passing the Riverton town sign, turn at the next right onto West River Road. The field is located a short distance on the left. Please park in the parking lot adjacent to the Little League field BURLINGTON NASSAHEGAN - from Route 4, turn south opposite Burlington Town Hall onto Belden Road. At the end of the street, turn left onto George Washington Turnpike. At the fork at Miller Road, bear to the left. Watch for field on the right. LEWIS MILLS HIGH SCHOOL FIELD (Field H) - Travel on Route 4 until reaching Lewis Mills High School. Turn onto Lyons Road at the front of the school. The school is located at the back of the school.

3 CANTON BOWDOIN FIELD (CANTON HIGH SCHOOL) - Travel on Route 44 to East Hill Road (south). Continue pass the Mills Pond Recreation area and turn right at the end of the road onto Symonds Road. The field is on the left directly opposite the entrance to Canton High School. Park in first driveway on the left past the field. There is a short path through the woods to the field. MILLS POND FIELD - Travel on Route 44 to East Hill Road (south). At approximately one half mile, you will pass the field on the right. Turn right at the next stop sign and park at Mills Pond Recreation Center. Farmington IRVING A. ROBBINS MIDDLE SCHOOL - Traveling East on Route 44, turn right on Route 179 (South) at the Saybrook Fish House. Follow Route 179 through Collinsville to Route 4 East. Follow Route 4 East through Unionville and Farmington toward I-84. Follow signs for Route 4 East Farmington Ave and Uconn Medical Center. Turn right onto South Rd. Turn right onto Bird s Eye Rd. Turn left onto Wolf Pit Rd. School is #20 Wolf Pit Rd. TUNXIS MEADE - Traveling East on Route 44, turn right on Route 179 (South) at the Saybrook Fish House. Follow Route 179 through Collinsville to Route 4 East. Follow Route 4 East to Unionville. Turn right onto Route 177. Cross the steel bridge and turn left onto New Britain Ave. Turn left at stop sign onto Red Oak Hill Rd. Take the second left onto Tunxis Meade Rd to the Thomas J. Quirk Park.

4 NEW HARTFORD BROWN'S CORNER - Travel east on Route 44 to the center of New Hartford. At the intersection of Route 44 and Route 219, turn right onto Town Hill Road. Turn at the next left onto Steele Road and continue on it up a series of hills until you reach a dead end sign and then veer right Brown's Corner is located on your left just before the intersection of Route 202. Traveling west, take Route 202 past the Nepaug Reservoir. Turn right at the next road, Steele Road. Brown's Comer is located just a short distance on the right. Traveling north, take Route 202 east through Bakersville and past the intersection with Route 219. Turn left at the third road after this, Steele Road. Brown's Comer is located just a short distance on the right. Simsbury Town Forest Park: Rt 44 towards Avon, left on RT 167 (bushy hill road) Drive 3 miles to Stratton Brook road (traffic light) make a left. Take Stratton Brook 1/4 mile and make a left on Town Forest road. Take Town Forest road to the end (turns into a gravel road). The field is on the left. Simsbury High School: Rt 44 towards Avon, left on RT 167 (bushy hill road). Take RT 167 to the end. Make a left on West Street, High School is on the right. Drive to the back of the parking lot. The field is in the back to the right of the lacross field. Memorial Park: Rt 44 towards Avon, left on RT 167 (bushy hill road). Take RT 167 to the end. Make a right on West Street, take West Street to the end. Make a left on rt 10 (hopmeadow street). Take RT 10 approx 1/4 mile to Plank Hill Road (Vincent's Sports shop on right, Maple tree cafe on left). Make a left on plank hill road, drive past the cemetary and the park entrance is on the right (elmers way). When in the park bare right on the road, the Babe Ruth field is up the hill on the right.

5 Torrington Fuessenich Park. Take Route 202 into the center of town, there will be 4 lanes. Take the left lane. Go over the bridge and past the plaza, ( there's a 99 Resturant) and take your first left. Your there. If your coming on Route 8 south take exit 44, downtown exit. At the end of the exit go straight to the light. Now go right, East Main St. and follow directions above when you see the 4 lanes. Oak Avenue Field. Take Route 202 into Torrington, at the intersection where there is a Rite Aid on your left and a Shell station on your right, turn left, Willow St. Go to the first stop sign and go right, Franklin Street. Now take your first left, Franklin Drive. Stay straight, Franklin Drive turns into Oak Ave. The fields are on your left. From Route 8 south take exit 43. At the end of the exit turn right then a quick left, Harwinton Ave. At your first stop sign turn right, Albert St. Your next stop sign turn left, Oak Ave. Field is about 1/2 mile on your left. Wolcott Tech Field. Take Route 202 into Torrington, on you way down the hill you merge with Route 4, take your first right after the merge, Bird St. then take your first right, Amherst St. then your first left, Oliver St. You will see the school, the field is behind the school turn in at the first driveway. From Route 8 south take exit 44. At the end of the exit turn left, East Elm St. At the second light turn left, Elsie St., by the glass building. Then at stop sign turn right, Bird St. then take your first left, Amherst St. and then your first left again, Oliver St. The field is behind the school, turn in the first driveway.

6 WINSTED WALKER FIELD - Traveling west on Route 44, continue into Winsted until reaching the green. Turn left at the Dairy Queen onto Rowley Street. Walker Field is located a short distance on the right. Traveling north, take Route 44 west and continue into Winsted until reaching the green. Turn left at the Dairy Queen onto Rowley Street. Walker Field is located a short distance on the right. GILBERT FIELD (GILBERT SCHOOL) - Travel west on Route 44 through Winsted until reaching the Coastal gas station. Turn right before the station onto Spencer Street. At the next road, turn right onto Hinsdale Avenue. Turn left turn at the stop sign onto Williams Avenue. Go straight up to Gilbert School.
