1 2011 SSSL 14u Directions Avon/Holbrook : - CROWLEY FIELD, FAGAN DRIVE, AVON, MA From 24 South: Route 24 North; Take exit 19A to merge onto Harrison Boulevard; Turn left at MA-28/E Main Street; Turn right at Fagan Drive; Follow Fagan Drive to end; Crowley Softball Field is the first field on left. From Route 3 South: Route 3 North toward Quincy/Boston; Take exit 20 to merge onto I-93 S/US-1S toward Dedham/I-95; Take exit 5A to merge onto MA-28/Randolph Ave toward Randolph; Continue to follow MA-28 into Avon; Turn left at Fagan Drive; Follow Fagan Drive to end; Crowley Softball Field is the first field on left. Berkley - Rezendes Park Route 24 South, take exit 11 Padelford St. Bear left at end of ramp onto Padelford St. Travel approx 1 mile, take a Right onto Anthony Street. Rezendes Park will be 1 mile on left. Softball field is the one past the concession stand. Braintree National - Watson Park, Gordon St., Braintree. MA Rt 3, Take Exit 17 toward Braintree/S.Braintree Enter rotary and take Union St. exit (Sunoco Gas Station) Union St. becomes Commercial St Follow to the end and turn left onto Quincy Ave/ MA-53 Turn right at set of lights onto Gordon Rd. Watson Park is on the right. Braintree South - Lakeside Fields 99 Lakeside The fields are behind the Flaherty Elementary School, which is adjacent to the South Shore Plaza. Take Route 3 North to Exit 17 Union St. / Braintree / S. Braintree The exit puts you onto a traffic circle Take the 3rd exit from the traffic circle (go 3/4 of the way around) onto Union Street After ~ 1/2 mile, Union Street ends Take a right onto Washington Street After 1/2 mile, turn left onto West Street After just under 1/2 mile, turn right onto Walnut Street After about 1/2 mile, stay to the left to remain on Walnut street Then take the next left onto Lakeside Drive Take the next right into the Flaherty Elementary School 1

2 Bridgewater 45 Crescent Street Bridgewater, MA FROM THE NORTH Take RT 24 South. Take the RT 104 E exit Number 16 A toward Bridgewater. Turn left at RT 104 E/ Pleasant St (2.9 miles). Turn right on Crescent St. FROM THE SOUTH Take RT 24 N to RTE 104 E-Exit 15. Turn slight right on Pleasant St (rte 104). Turn right onto Crescent St. Brockton - Oscar R. Raymond Community School 125 Oak St. Brockton, MA From Rt. 24: Take exit 18B Stoughton onto Rt. 27 north Off ramp, follow Rt. 27 to first light and bear to the right Go straight through next light and at 3 rd light, turn right onto Oak St. (There will be a Mobil gas station and a Dunkin Donuts on your right) Follow Oak St. for approx. 1.9 miles. The Oscar F. Raymond Community school will be on your left, just after CVS The fields are located behind the school. There is ample parking in front of the school as well as along both sides of the school. There are portable restrooms available on site. Carver Carver High School From 495 South - Take Exit 6 to Route 44 towards Plymouth. Take Route 58 (Carver) exit and turn RIGHT at bottom of ramp. Continue on Route 58 until blinking yellow light, the street to the left is South Meadow Road. Turn left and school entrance is on left. Field is out back to the right of the school. From Route 3 South Take exit 7 (Route 44), take the Route 58 (Carver) exit and take a LEFT at bottom of the ramp. Then follow the same directions as above. Duxbury Duxbury High School, Onion Field Onion Field is behind Duxbury High School, to the left of the football field. From Route 3 (North or South): Take Exit 11 - Duxbury / Route 14. Take a right at the end of the exit ramp to go east on Route 14, toward the ocean. Within 1/4 mile, you will come to a small rotary. Take the second exit from the rotary to remain going straight on Route 14. After about 3/4 mile, bear right at the fork to stay on Route14. Follow to traffic light, junction with Route 3A, (approximately 1 mile). Go straight through light for about 1/2 mile. Look for Duxbury High School on the left (just after the Percy Walker Pool on the right). Drive to the rear of the school. Onion Field is all the way back on the left side. 2

3 Halifax 14A plays at Halifax Elementary School 14B plays at Vaughn Field- (14A) -Halifax Elementary School 464 Plymouth St, Halifax (rt 106) Located on rt 106/Plymouth St, next to the Halifax FIRE Station (1/4 mile from Vaughn Field).. Park on the left side of the building next to courts From Whitman/Abington/Hanover area: take rt 58 into Halifax center. Take a RIGHT onto rt 106, Plymouth St. Follow approx 1.5 miles, Fields are behind school on the left. From Raynham area : take rt 104 east, through Bridewater. Rt 104 ends and merges onto rt 106, stay right onto rt106. Follow rt 106 into Halifax go approx 2.5 miles, school is on right. From Lakeville/Middleboro area : take rt 105 into Halifax until it ends at rt 106. Take a right on rt 106, Plymouth St. School is approx 1 mile on the right. From Weymouth area : Take rt 18 South through Weymouth. Take a LEFT onto rt 58 in So. Weymouth. Follow rt 58 through Abington, Whitman & Hanson into Halifax. Come to Halifax center at intersection of rt 106. Take a RIGHT onto rt 106, Plymouth St. Follow approx 1.5 miles, School is on the LEFT (14B) - Vaughn Field- 540 Plymouth St, Halifax (rt 106) Located directly on rt 106/Plymouth St, next to the Halifax Police Station (1/4 mile from Halifax Elementary) From Whitman/Abington/Hanover area: take rt 58 into Halifax center. Take a RIGHT onto rt 106, Plymouth St. Follow approx 1.5 miles, Fields are on the left. From Raynham area : take rt 104 east, through Bridewater. Rt 104 ends and merges onto rt 106, stay right onto rt106. Follow rt 106 into Halifax go approx 2.5 miles, field are on right. From Lakeville/Middleboro area : take rt 105 into Halifax until it ends at rt 106. Take a right on rt 106, Plymouth St. Fields are approx 1 mile on the right. From Weymouth area : Take rt 18 South through Weymouth. Take a LEFT onto rt 58 in So. Weymouth. Follow rt 58 through Abington, Whitman & Hanson into Halifax. Come to Halifax center at intersection of rt 106. Take a RIGHT onto rt 106, Plymouth St. Follow approx 1.5 miles, Fields are on the LEFT 3

4 Hanover - Salmond School, 188 Broadway St From the North: Take Route 3 South to exit #13. Turn right at end of ramp onto rt 53 South At 5 th set of lights turn left onto Broadway St Salmond School is set back to the right From the South: Take Route 3 North. Take Exit 12 Bear RIGHT at the end of the ramp onto rt 139 Follow to rt 53, take a right (North) At 1 st set of lights turn right onto Broadway St Salmond School is set back to the right Hanson - LZ Thomas Field Located on rt. 27/Main St. in Hanson. From the South Take Rt. 27 west toward Brockton and the field is located on the left after the intersection of Rt. 27 and Rt. 58. From the North Take Rt. 27 east toward Plymouth field is on the right before the intersection of Rt. 27 and Rt. 58 Hingham - CARLSON FIELD, BARE COVE PARK 19 Fort Hill St From Cape Cod & Plymouth: Take Route 3 North to exit 16(mile 38.4), turn right at the top of the ramp onto Route 18 North (see below) From Boston & Route 128: Take Route 3 South towards Cape Cod to exit 16A (mile38.4). Turn right at the top of the ramp onto Route 18 North (see below) From Route 18 North: Take Route 18 North for ¼ of a mile to the traffic lights at the intersection of Main Street (Route 18 & Winter Street) Turn right onto Winter Street, go past Dairy Queen on the left and follow for ½ of a mile to the end of the road. Turn left onto Middle Street and go straight for 1.3 miles through 3 traffic lights. This will bring you to the intersection of Middle and Broad Streets. Turn right onto Broad Street and follow for about a mile to the traffic light in Jackson Square. Continue straight on Broad Street and continue down the hill, past the Venetian Restaurant (on the right), to the next traffic light. Turn left onto Commercial Street (CVS will be on your right) and continue straight for 1.8 miles. The roads name will change to Fresh River Avenue and then to 4

5 Fort Hill Street. When you see the Hingham MBTA Commuter Rail station on the right, you turn left into Bare Cove Park ; the entrance is just before Thomas Auto Body. The club is the last building on the left ½ of a mile from the entrance. Hull - Menice Field Take Route 3, exit 14 (Rockland/Nantasket/ Route 228). Follow Route 228 all the way to Hull/Nantasket. Field is on left side right before beach and just after Avalon Estates, enter at flashing yellow light. 15 minutes from Route 228 and Route 3. Kingston - Norman Opachinski Field Complex (Pottle St. Fields) From the North: Take Route 3 south to Exit 10. Take a right at the end of the ramp. At the traffic light, take a left onto Route 3A south. Follow for about 1 mile to Pottle Street (on the right, just before the railroad tracks). Pottle Street will become a dirt road that leads into the field complex. Stay to the right and drive around the first field. The new field complex is in the back. From the South take RT 3 north exit 9.rt off ramp(3a).set of lights after Kingston library(on left).take a left after RR tracks onto Pottle st.. Follow rd. to the end Marshfield - FOREST ST. /VARSITY FIELD Forest Street From Route 3 North: Take EXIT 12 and go right at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 139 East / Marshfield. Travel approx 1.5 miles to a lighted intersection (Roche Bros. is on your right) At the intersection, turn left onto Furnace Street and proceed 0.2 miles to the intersection of Furnace and Forest Streets. Turn Left onto Forest Street Marshfield High School is on the left. Girls Varsity Softball field is approx a quarter mile down the road on the Left hand side (last field in the athletic complex) From Route 3 South: Take EXIT 12 and go left at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 139 East / Marshfield Travel approx 1.5 miles to a lighted intersection (Roche Bros. is on your right) At the intersection, turn left onto Furnace Street and proceed 0.2 miles to the intersection of Furnace and Forest Streets Turn Left onto Forest Street Marshfield High School is on the left. Girls Varsity Softball field is approx a quarter mile down the road on the Left hand side (last field in the athletic complex ) Middleboro- Middleboro High School 5

6 From Route 3 Take Route 3 south. Take the Route 44 exit and head towards Middleboro. Follow Route 44 to route 105 in Middleboro. Turn left onto Route 105. Follow Route 105 into Middleboro Center. Continue to Rte 28. Turn left onto Rte 28. MHS is about 1 mile on right. Fields are located in the back of the HS. From Abington/Whitman Area Follow Route 18 South to Middleboro Rotary. Continue on Route 28 South. Stay on Route 28 thru 2 sets of lights. After the second set of lights at Rte 105, the HS is about 1 mile up on right. The Fields are located in the back of the HS. From ROUTE 24/495 Take Route 24 south to Route 495 south. Take Exit 4 off 495. At the end of Exit turn left onto Route 105. At the first light turn right onto Rte 28. HS is bout 1 mile up on right. Field are located in the back of the school. From Raynham Walmart Area Take Route 44 towards Middleboro Rotary. Go Around Rotary and continue down Route 28. Stay on Route 28 thru 2 sets of lights. After the second set of lights at Rte 105, the HS is about 1 mile up on right. The Fields are located in the back of the HS. MILTON - Cunningham Park, 75 Edge Hill Rd, Milton, MA Full directions can be downloaded from their league website Norwell - WOODWORTH FIELD (3 rd Little League Field) From the North : take Route 3 South to Exit Number 13 (Hanover Mall/Route 53 exit). At the end of the exit ramp, take a left onto Route 53. Stay on Route 53 until the first set of lights, approximately 3 /4 mile (Route 123). Take a right at these lights onto Route 123. The Woodworth Fields will be on the right side of the road, approximately3/4 mile down on Route 123. The games will be played on the 3rd field in from the street. From the South :, take Route 3 North to Exit Number 13 (Hanover Mall/Route 53 exit). At the end of the exit ramp, take a right onto Route 53. Stay on Route 53 until the first set of lights, approximately3/4 mile (Route 123). Take a right at these lights onto Route 123. The Woodworth Fields will be on the right side of the road, approximately 3/4 mile down on Route 123. The games will be played on the 3rd field in from the street. Pembroke - Pembroke High School, 80 Learning Lane From route 27 : Follow Rt 27 through Hanson, into Pembroke. At Rt. 36 lights, take left. Follow Rt 36 approx. 1 mile. At Oliveras Restaurant. take a right onto Hobomock St. Follow Hobomock St, past Hobomock Arena approx. ½ mile. 6

7 Take left onto Learning Lane. From Route 53: Follow Rt 53 through Hanover into Pembroke. At 2 nd lights. across from Fire Station & next to gas station, take right onto Rt 14 ( Barker St). Follow Rt 14 into Pembroke center, approx. 1.5 miles. At lights, bear left (straight) onto Rt. 36 Follow Rt. 36 approx. 3/4 mile, take left at Oliveras Restaurant - Hobomock St. Follow Hobomock St, past Hobomock Arena approx. ½ mile. Take left onto Learning Lane.Fields are at the end of Learning lane. Quincy Direction to Pageant Field: Take Exit 8 Furnace Brook Parkway off of Expressway (93 north). Stay on Furnace Brook Parkway until your sixth set of lights. Take a left onto Merrymount Parkway. Take your first right at Adam Field. Pageant Field is at the top of the hill. Direction to Mitchell/McCoy Field: Take Exit 8 Furnace Brook Parkway off of Expressway (93 north). Stay on Furnace Brook Parkway until your sixth set of lights. Take a left onto Merrymount Parkway(Southern Artery Rte 3A). Take your first right after Adam Field into Mitchell/McCoy parking lot. Direction to Welcome Young Field: Take Exit 9 off of Expressway (93 north) towards Adams Street/East Milton Square. Stay on Granite Avenue until your third set of lights. Take a right onto West Squantum Street. Stay on West Squantum Street for approximately 1.3 miles. Take a left onto Hancock Street. Take your second right after Applebee s (it is like a ramp) Commander Shea Blvd. At the end of the ramp, take a right on to Sagamore Street, and Welcome Young is right there. 7

8 Randolph - Sullivan Softball Complex, 240 North St Randolph Ma. From Route 139 Head West on 139 into Randolph Square. Take Right down North Street for one mile. Fields are behind skating rink on the left. From Route 24 Take 139 East to Route 28 North follow for half mile. Take right onto Pleasant Street. At the bottom of Pleasant Street take a left onto North Street. First Left into Skating Rink Parking Lot. Fields are behind the Rink. From Braintree Take Pond Street in Braintree to North Street in Randolph for two miles. Fields will be on the right, behind the skating rink. Raynham RYBA Field Complex 687 Pleasant Street, Raynham MA From the North Route 24 South to Rt. 104 exit 15. Bear right toward Raynham. Follow Rt. 104 (North Main Street) approx. 1.6 miles to White Street (Colletti s Market will be on your right). Left on White Street. Follow White Street for.8 miles to Pleasant Street. Left on Pleasant Street. Follow Pleasant Street for.3 miles. Take a right immediately after Merrill School into the RYBSA Complex. From The South Route 24 North to Rt. 44 East. Make a Left at set of lights (end of ramp) onto Orchard Street. Follow Orchard Street to the flashing red light (4-way stop) at the intersection of Pleasant Street. Right onto Pleasant Street. Go past Merrill School. Take a right immediately after Merrill School into the RYBSA Complex. From Cape Cod Route 495 North to Rt. 44 West. Follow Rt. 44 West approximately 2 1/2 miles to Orchard Street (just before you get to Orchard St, you will pass Wal-Mart on the left and Lowe s on your right there s a large bluish green Water Tank on right). Make a Right 8

9 at set of lights onto Orchard Street. Follow Orchard Street to the flashing red light at the intersection of Pleasant Street. Right onto Pleasant Street. Take a right immediately after Merrill School into the RYBSA Complex. From The West Route 495 South to Rt. 138 South (Right onto Broadway/138 at end of ramp). Approximately 1/2 mile, make a Left onto Center Street (1 st left after Milk Bottle restaurant). Follow Center Street straight through set of lights (Tedschi s and post office will be on your right) onto North Main Street to White Street. Take a left onto White Street. Follow White Street to Pleasant Street (stop sign). Left on Pleasant Street. Go past Merrill School. Take a right immediately after Merrill School into the RYBSA Complex. Rockland - Rockland High School Coming South on Route 3: Take Exit 14 (Rockland/Nantasket 228) and bear right off the exit Follow road (Hingham Street) to the end At set of lights, turn right Go straight and continue through two sets of lights to end of road (Webster Street) Turn left onto Union Street and take your second right onto Taunton Avenue. This turn should be prior to the Rockland Trust bank you see ahead on the right side of the road. Follow road past tennis courts on the right and take the left after you see the basketball courts on the left. Bear left before the school and the field is straight ahead. Coming North on Route 3: Take Exit 14 (Rockland/Nantasket 228) and bear left off the ramp. Take a left at the set of lights. Follow the road (Hingham Street) under the overpass and through several lights until you reach a set of lights where you have to either go left or right. At the set of lights, turn right. Go straight and continue through two sets of lights to end of road (Webster Street) Turn left onto Union Street and take your second right onto Taunton Avenue. This turn should be prior to the Rockland Trust bank you see ahead on the right side of the road. Follow road past tennis courts on the right and take the left after you see the basketball courts on the left. Bear left before the school and the field is straight ahead. From points south of Rockland (Whitman, Bridgewater, Hanson, Halifax) Coming north on Route 58, follow road until crosses Route 123. This intersection has a Honey Dew Donuts and Dairy Queen on its corners. Take a right at the lights and follow road through a set of lights (pass Stop n Shop), pass a blinking yellow light (road curves left), and then through another 9

10 set of lights. After passing the McDonalds on the right, take a left at the next set of lights. This is Union Street. Follow road through a set of lights (Dunkin Donuts on right) and then take the third left onto Taunton Street. Turn is right after Rockland Trust bank on left. Follow road past tennis courts on the right and take the left after you see the basketball courts on the left. Bear left before the school and the field is straight ahead. Coming north on Route 18 Follow road until intersection of Route 123. Turn right onto Route 123, then left at the next set of lights, then take a right at the next light. There should be a Sovereign Bank on your right as you take the turn Continue along road until you come to a set of lights with a Mobil On the Run gas station on one side and a Burger King on the other. This will be approximately 3 miles after turning onto Route 123 from Route 18. Turn left at the lights onto Union Street Follow road through a set of lights (Dunkin Donuts on right) and then take the third left onto Taunton Street. Turn is right after Rockland Trust bank on left. Follow road past tennis courts on the right and take the left after you see the basketball courts on the left. Bear left before the school and the field is straight ahead Scituate - CENTRAL FIELD, SCITUATE, MA From the North 1. Take Route 3 South Towards Cape Cod 2. Take Exit 13 Scituate/Norwell 3. Bear Left at Exit Ramp and Take First Left at Light onto Route 53 North 4. Go Approximately 3/4 Mile to Light at Intersection with Route 123 and Take Right onto Route 123 East 5. Follow Route 123 East through Norwell into Scituate until you come to Light at Intersection with Route 3A. 6. Take a Left onto Route 3A North and Go Approximately 1 ½ Miles until you come to First Light at Intersection with 1 st Parish Road. 7. Take Right onto 1 st Parish Road and continue 0.8 miles through one set of lights and take Next Left onto Central Park Drive. 8. There are 2 softball fields immediately visible on Central Park Drive and Lawson Tower will be visible. From the South 1. Take Route 3 North Towards Cape Cod 2. Take Exit 13 Scituate/Norwell 3. Bear Right at Exit Ramp onto Route 53 North 10

11 4. Go Approximately 3/4 Mile to Light at Intersection with Route 123 and Take Right onto Route 123 East 5. Follow Route 123 East through Norwell into Scituate until you come to Light at Intersection with Route 3A. 6. Take a Left onto Route 3A North and Go Approximately 1 ½ Miles until you come to First Light at Intersection with 1 st Parish Road. Taunton NORTON AVE. SOFTBALL COMPLEX FROM THE NORTH: TAKE RT. 495 SOUTH TO EXIT 10 (RT.123 WEST, NORTON) GO RIGHT OFF THE EXIT APPROX. 1 ½ MILES.. TAKE A LEFT ONTO RT. 140 SOUTH...GO APPROX. 5 ½ MILES TAKE A LEFT ONTO NORTON AVE. (ACROSS FROM CAR LOT, LIGHT BLUE HOUSE ON THE CORNER ON LEFT) CONTINUE TO THE FORK IN THE ROAD BEAR LEFT STAYING ON NORTON AVE PASS THE TAUNTON NURSING HOME ON THE LEFT THE COMPLEX IS 100 YARDS ON THE LEFT. FROM THE NORTH: TAKE RT. 24 SOUTH TO RT 495 NORTH TO EXIT RT.123 WEST, NORTON) GO LEFT OFF THE EXIT APPROX. 1 ½ MILES.. TAKE A LEFT ONTO RT. 140 SOUTH...GO APPROX. 5 ½ MILES TAKE A LEFT ONTO NORTON AVE. (ACROSS FROM CAR LOT, LIGHT BLUE HOUSE ON THE CORNER ON LEFT) CONTINUE TO THE FORK IN THE ROAD BEAR LEFT STAYING ON NORTON AVE PASS THE TAUNTON NURSING HOME ON THE LEFT THE COMPLEX IS 100 YARDS ON THE LEFT. FROM THE SOUTH: RT. 24 NORTH TO RT. 140 NORTH (TAUNTON) CONTINUE ON 140 NORTH TO DOWN TOWN TAUNTON (YOU WILL GO THROUGH SEVERAL SETS OF LIGHTS) CONTINUE TO FOLLOW THE SIGNS FOR RT. 140 TAKE A LEFT ONTO MAIN STREET GO ALMOST ½ WAY AROUND THE TAUNTON GREEN TAKE THE SECOND RIGHT (BESIDE THE COURT HOUSE) ONTO COURT STREET FOLLOW TO THE END TAKE A LEFT ONTO WASHINGTON STREET GET IN THE RIGHT LANE TAKE A RIGHT ONTO RT.140 (TREMONT STREET) FOLLOW FOR SEVERAL MILES TAKE A RIGHT ONTO NORTON AVE. (ACROSS FROM CAR LOT, AFTER THE LIGHT BLUE HOUSE) FOLLOW NORTON AVE. TO THE FORK IN THE ROAD BEAR LEFT AT THE FORK STAYING ON NORTON AVE. PASS THE TAUNTON NURSING HOME ON THE LEFT THE COMPLEX IS 100 YARDS ON THE LEFT. FROM THE SOUTH: TAKE RT. 95 NORTH TO RT 495 EAST AND TAKE THE RT.123 WEST, NORTON EXIT GO RIGHT OFF THE EXIT APPROX. 1 ½ MILES.. TAKE A LEFT ONTO RT. 140 SOUTH...GO APPROX. 5 ½ MILES TAKE A LEFT ONTO NORTON AVE. (ACROSS FROM CAR LOT, LIGHT BLUE HOUSE ON THE CORNER ON LEFT) CONTINUE TO THE FORK IN THE ROAD BEAR LEFT STAYING ON NORTON AVE PASS THE TAUNTON NURSING HOME ON THE LEFT 11

12 THE COMPLEX IS 100 YARDS ON THE LEFT Whitman - Whitman Middle School, 99 Corthell Ave. At intersection of Rt.18 & 27 Follow Rt. 27 West, not even a 1/4 mile there will be a blinking yellow light, take that left onto Corthell until you see the school. Fields are behind. 12
