That only gave us one month to ﬁnd a suitable mee ng place that could accommodate around people. Weiler's was suggested so the Board members met there and had a nice breakfast and checked it out. As most of us know we had our ﬁrst mee ng here last month and with a li le rearranging I think it might just work out, also there s plenty of parking for our bikes right in front of the restaurant. We have a new mee ng loca on since Coco s closed and our new place is right down the street at Weiler s Deli. We wanted it to be a surprise so we met at Coco s and had a short ride to Weiler s Deli which is almost across the street from Coco s. What an Entrance we made! The IRUSA dress shirts came in and were given out. They look pre y awesome. Rick and Jodi thanked all the oﬃcers and Ride Leaders for all their hard work throughout the year. Lots of over night rides scheduled including Hollister, and our big ride to Reno (Street Vibra on). So get your rooms booked before there all gone! We had an incredible turn out for this event. 34 people rode and met at the restaurant. What a wonderful me we had on this beau ful pa o and all the decora ons for Valen ne s Day. As Jodi and I looked around at all the people who where there, our emo ons were going crazy. We looked around and thought to ourselves what an amazing group of people we have in our life's. I keep saying this over and over that IRUSA is the best riding club that I have ever known and it s all because of it s members, one big happy family as I like to call it. We love you all and treasure all the memories we make together, on the road and off! Were self taught or learned from family or friends Answer: 92 % Today s Ride Last Month s Rides We will be heading towards the ocean to one of our favorite ea ng spots. A place we all come to know and love Spruzzo s. I like to call this route the 6 canyon ride. 1st we ll be taking Mulholland Hwy to Stunt RD, to a one way canyon road called Tuna canyon to PCH and up Las Floes Cyn. a er a quick rest stop at Duke s. Then to Malibu Cyn. And back down to PCH to our des na on Spruzzo s. This ride will keep everyone on their toes. Let s ride!! Rick Rock Inn Vincent Hill Station Our first ride of January went to Cold Springs Tavern where some would say they have the best Tri Tip sandwiches anywhere. Unfortunately the weather that day did not cooperate with having some rain and heavy fog. We will be doing this ride again so we can enjoy all the spectacular views and the mountain top roads that John Grieco Led us through. Our second ride was a er our General Mee ng. We went to a cool hole in the wall bar & grill called The Hideaway. As always we took the canyons and back roads to this hidden tavern tucked in the hills of Sylmar. This place has a unique back pa o as unique as the bar itself. When we arrived there they were preparing us a Chicken Alfredo buffet with all the fixings! Bread, 3 types of salad, and desserts all for $5.00. Incredible! Everyone had a blast. Our third ride of the month is a well know biker hang out in Lake Hughes called The Rock Inn This is a cool place just to ride to and have lunch and just hangout with your friends. This 100 year old building also has rooms up stairs if you want to spend the night. Our fourth ride for January went to a popular spot by the ocean called The Ventura Harbor. This is another place we like to ride to. The weather is nice and cool and it has some interes ng shops and restaurants to go to while taking a walk down the harbor walk ways. We had lunch on the pa o at Brophy s Seafood overlooking the marina. Very relaxing and nice day.
