Facility Information Galen Center S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles, CA Phone: (213) On October 21, 2006, the Galen Center opened its doors as the new home to USC's basketball and volleyball programs. The center puts the Trojan teams on an impressive stage, allowing the Trojans to strut their stuff in a 255,000 square-foot arena with 10,258 seats, and utilize new locker rooms for home and visitors, as well as a stateof-the-art weight room and medical training room. An attached 45,000 square-foot pavilion contains additional practice room with three sections with enough space for 4 full basketball courts or 9 volleyball courts as well as seating for 1,000 - along with space for coaches and administrative offices. Galen also has function rooms, a ticket office, concession stands and merchandise stores for visitors to the new complex and houses the Athletic Department Hall of Fame. Still, athletics won't be the only events to touch down at the Galen Center, however. The venue also plays host to concerts, commencement ceremonies, community events, lectures, meetings, shows, pageants and more. 4

6 Laundry Requests All laundry requests should be made to Tre Limbrick at (213) or Locker Room Facilities The visiting team locker room is located on the east side of the playing surface on the ground level. Each team will be provided with ice bags, water, cups and towels. The locker room has game clock and a dry erase board for your use. 8 Media Information All media needs are coordinated through Jeremy Wu at or at (213) Parking Information All buses and vans will drop-off and park in Loading Dock 1, which is located on the fire-lane at the south end of the arena. This is accessible off of Flower Street. Please notify Ryan Plunkett (213) upon arrival and a USC staff member will greet your team and escort you to your locker room. After drop-off, buses will be directed to a park inside the loading dock. See Appendix B for a map of the area. Practice Times Contact Ryan Plunkett with practice requests at or at rplunket@usc.edu. Sports Medicine All training room necessities will be handled by Shannon Murphy, ATC, (213) or by at murphysh@usc.edu.the training room is located on the Arena Level at the South side of the playing floor. The training room will open approximately 2 hours prior to tip off. 9 Tailgating Please refer to the USC website for the university tailgating policy. Team Entrance Visiting Teams and staff will enter the facility from the loading dock doors for all team practices and games. A gate attendant will open the gate upon the team s arrival. Please call or text Ryan Plunkett at (213) (cell) upon your arrival to the venue. Ticket Information and Will Call The Galen Center Ticket Office is located next to the northwest entrance of the arena. Public Will Call and Customer service will be run out of this location. Team/Coaches Will Call is located just inside the northwest entrance of the arena. The visiting team ticket list can be found in Appendix D at the end of this guide. A valid picture ID must be presented to pick up all tickets. Please contact Rose Andrade in the USC Ticket Office with any further requests or questions at (213) or by at rosaa@usc.edu. You may submit the ticket list to Rose Andrade by or in person to Ryan Plunkett at your arrival to Galen Center. Post-game, family/fans will be able to meet your team behind your bench inside the arena after the team exits the locker room or outside the south gate after the arena has been cleared (approximately 10 minutes from time game ends). Visiting Team Bench The visiting team bench is the left of the scorer s tables, as you face it. 9

Slight right onto the I-105 E ramp 4. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 105 E/Norwalk and merge onto Interstate 105 E 5. Take the I-110 N/I-110 S exit toward Los Angeles/San Pedro 6. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Interstate 110 N/Los Angeles and merge onto I-110 N 7. Take the Exposition Blvd exit toward 37th St 8. Merge onto S Hope St (signs for Exposition Boulevard) 9. 13 Appendix D Visiting Team s Ticket List Visiting Team: Event Date: To ensure adequate ticketing for visiting teams, please this list to the University of Southern California, two days prior to the scheduled event. A PICTURE I.D. IS REQUIRED NCAA Bylaw Issuance Procedures: The individual utilizing the complimentary admission MUST present identification to the person supervising the use of the passlist at the admission gate. The individual then shall be provided a ticket stub or other identification of a specified reserved seat, directed to a specific reserved-seating section or seating area, or treated as a general admission ticket holder.
