Please contact your event administrator for directions and questions. Your locker room will contain: first aid supplies, ice bags, and towels. (In strip mall on your right hand side near Big Lots) Shopping Guide in Des Moines Taki Japanese Steakhouse th Street Merle Hay Mall: Merle Hay Road (Closest Mall to Drake) Directions: Take Forest Avenue west to Beaver avenue, go north on Beaver to Hickman Ave go west on Hickman to Merle Hay Road. Turn right on Merle Hay road and drive approximately 1 mile - Mall is on the west side of the street. (There is a Target at this mall). They also have a theatre (big screen) at the mall. Jordan Creek Mall: Jordan Creek Parkway (New mall) Directions: Take Forest Avenue west to 30th street, go south to I235. Take I-235 west to Jordan Creek Parkway exit (also 74th street). Turn left on Jordan Creek Parkway and continue south about 3 miles and you will run into the mall. Valley West Mall: Valley West Drive, West Des Moines Directions: Take Forest Avenue west to 30th street, go south to I235. Take I-235 west to 35th Street exit. Turn right on 35th street - mall on your right - Target on your left. HyVee on your left. Walmart: rd Street Directions: Take Forest Avenue west to 30th street, turn left on 30th. Take a right on University Avenue (you will be heading West). Continue on University avenue until 73rd street, turn left on 73rd street. Walmart is on your left. (You will pass a HyVee on University Avenue. HyVee is a local grocery store for all your grocery needs). It is one block east of Walmart on University. Walgreens: University Avenue Directions: Take Forest avenue west to 30th street. It is on the corner of 30th and University.
