3 CCC/ARC/101/3 The City of Christchurch was first incorporated by the Municipal Council Ordinance, Session XIV., No. 2, of the Province of Canterbury, the late Sir John Hall being the first City of Christchurch Chairman, in 1862 and the late Mr William Wilson first Mayor in On 1 st April 1903, the adjoining Boroughs of Linwood, St Albans and Sydenham were united with the City, Yearbook and became Wards under the same names, the old City forming the Central Ward. The City was further enlarged on 1 st April 1907, 1 st April 1911, 3 rd April 1914, 2 nd October 1916 and 20 th March 1917 This book is in good condition with plain white back and front inside cover.
