While we walked on the street of Shigaraki, we discovered plenty of Raccoon Statues. This museum was designed by the world-famous architect, Mr.I.M. Kusatsu Mizunomori Lotus Pond located at Karasuma peninsula. It is a unique botanical garden in Japan, which collects aquatic plants. 4 Around Lake Biwa Otsu < 大津 > Area Lake Biwako Flower Fountain Hieizan Enryakuji Temple The mega fountain is sitting on the oﬀ-shore breakwater of Otsu Port. It is 40m high and 440m wide. You can enjoy an illuminated fountain show except 2nd and 4th Wed., bad weather after sunset. Enryakuji Temple is respected as the mother mountain of Japanese Buddism.
