1 BULLETIN BATHING N - July 2012 Monitoring period: 12 may - 30 september The Bulletin - as required by law * - provides public information regarding: 1. Duration of the bathing activity 2. Sampling points and analytical results of each bathing water 3. Classification of quality associated with each bathing water 4. Map of bathing water sampling points Bathing waters are surface waters or parts thereof in which the competent authority expected to be practiced bathing. Monitoring sites are representative of the quality of the whole "bathing water". The waters themselves and their amplitude are defined based on common characteristics and assessments of risk to the entire tract under consideration. In Emilia-Romagna, for the 2012 bathing season, 96 were reconfirmed water bathing in the provinces of Ferrara, Ravenna, Forlì-Cesena and Rimini. The monitoring point is fixed within each bathing water, where it provides the most bathers or higher risk of pollution. * The publication of the implementing Decree (SO. n 97, G.U. n.119 of 24//2010 ) made applicable by the 2010 bathing season, the legislation referred to in Legislative Decree 116/2008.
