2 89 years of history The history of Olivieri is the history of a family that since 1929 is able to express trend at its best and how to live your home, previously only in Italy and now worldwide. Four generations have lived. The founder, Gregorio Olivieri, year 1908, he was nine years when he started to create the first wooden objects, being amazed by the beauty of the material. In a short time, he understood that his passion was connected to the furniture world. In 1929 opened his first laboratory, that in few years became a wooden factory with 120 employees recognized all over in Italy. In 1949, at 13 years of age, his son, Tullio, started to work close to his father. In the years after it was Tullio to become the main brain of the transformation from a wooden factory to an industry. He proved to be a brilliant innovator and devised new wood processing methods never seen before, achieving within his twenty-fifth birthday 9 patents for machinery woodworking. In a short time sale network widened very much and in 1967, together with his wife Teresa, started to build a brand new factory. Revolutionary for its time. After the death of Tullio, the company passed to children Cinzia and Marco and Enrica. Under their direction, they began other collaborations with prestigious Italian furniture designers, internationally renowned architects While Marco is dedicated mainly to the organization and production, starting to specialize in contract projects, Cinzia follows the Italian sale network and opens the first international markets, she demonstrates a profound ability to grasp the needs of the market, anticipating and reinterpreting trends of living. After a corporate restructuring, currently the members are Marco and Enrica, who respectively hold the positions of general and administrative direction. While the sales management and marketing are entrusted to their nephew, Michele Sartini, who very young and after a training course abroad, for ten years he was dedicated to the development of international markets, and in 2014 he manages the entire sales network and marketing. Along with Marco Olivieri form the right mix of experience and dynamism, creative component and technical, sales and production. By their intuition was born in 2014 the VERY WOOD project. A project in which the corporate image and the new collections are of high standard and in which all the company s values are well expressed. Today Olivieri brand is appreciated in more than 50 countries worldwide, and in February 2014 was inaugurated the first corporate flagship in Milan, in via Solferino, Brera. 2 3
