5 The Opportunity QT Museum Wellington are currently developing 18 new accommodation rooms on Level 4 of the hotel. We are calling for submissions from artists interested in generating in-room art for the interior wall space situated behind the bed. We anticipate approximately 2-6 artists being selected via our judging panel, to complete their artworks in 1-3 of the accommodation rooms. The competition will launch in May 2018, with winners being announced in June The new rooms are due to open early August 2018, so winners will have approximately 6-7 weeks lead in time to complete the art works. QT Museum Wellington will provide prizes for the short list of selected artists, as well as financially remunerate the winning artists for their time and expense. There is a budget allocated of $2-6k per room for each art work.

13 Entry Requirements Artists entering submissions will be required to submit the following information: 1. About You Tell us a little about your background and artistic style 2. Preferred Medium Tell us what would be your preferred medium for this project and why 3. Upload Your Draft Concept Please upload your draft concept of your submission for this project and tell us a little bit about the work 4. Timeline and Charges Please provide an indicative timeline of your requirement to complete the work proposed. Please also provide indicative charges for the cost of your work
