QT Premium Rooms are located on the upper levels of the hotel. 4 WINING & DINING Capitol Bar & Grill is a food concept created by acclaimed Australian restaurateur Robert Marchetti, QT Hotels Creative Food Director and a wine list carefully curated by Ian Cook, QT s wine consultant. The restaurant offers a choice of fine wine and a menu of bistro classics and future favourites with an Italian twist perfect for a power dinner. Capitol Bar & Grill, awarded One Hat by the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide 2015, crowned 'Most Prestigious Restaurant in ACT' by the Australian Hotel Association and has also included in The Australian top 500 Hottest Restaurants in Australia.

7 THE BARBER SHOP Step back into history at The Barber Shop. Take a nostalgic trip as you sink into the antique barber chairs and enjoy a haircut, shave or trim. Soothing hot towels prepare you for a smooth traditional shave, and you will leave feeling completely invigorated, ready for that important meeting. All of our QT Canberra barbers are dressed exclusively by Australian menswear label, M.J. Bale. Completing the experience, treatments are accompanied with complimentary Chivas Regal blended Scotch whiskies, offering a grooming experience in true gentlemanly fashion.

David has over 30 years experience in the hospitality and leisure industries and served as Managing Director of Rydges Hotels group from 1988 to Chairman of the National Accommodation Council and Australian Hotels Association, Seargeant has had a lifetime career in hotels having been general manager of 16 different hotel properties. Seargeant is also the Group Managing Director of Amalgamated Holdings Limited, the owners of QT Hotels and Rydges. Nic Graham Public Areas Designer & Stylist Nic Graham has made a name for himself delivering the cool and quirky interiors of QT Canberra. Graham has been running his own studio in Sydney with a small team and has worked in all of the traditional design categories including architecture, furniture and product design and interiors. Seargeant s vision for QT has been inspired by innovation and creative design found globally in architecture, emerging art, fashion and industrial design.

His team is compelled by the idea that design is a cultural imperative, taking responsibility for the creation of heightened experiences that engage both emotionally and intellectually. Ongarato continues to succeed in brining the QT experience to life. Robert Marchetti Creative Food Director, QT Hotels With 24 years experience as one of Australia s favourite restaurateurs,robert Marchetti brings a breadth of creativity to QT Canberra. QT Canberra and Capitol Bar & Grill has established itself as the hottest destination for great food and handcrafted drinks in Canberra. Marchetti has created a food concept that offers a choice of fine wine and a menu of bistro classics and future favourites with an Italian twist. 11 COLLABORATORS With a rich history in hotel design, management and community projects, the management and creative heads of QT Canberra have targeted yet varied experience Janet Hine Costume Design & Supervision With a background in costume design for YTT at Granada Media and Costume Couture, Janet Hine was an obvious choice when it came to commissioning the right designer for QT Canberra staff attire. Hines creative process started with Managing Director David Seargeant who shared his vision for QT Canberra. Outfits were required to share the stage with the designer interiors impacting on the hotels environment but not visually wrestling with it so Hine worked on creating hotel ;characters full of confidence and bravado. Comfort and practicalities also needed to play a part as no one member of staff is the same shape or size. Naomi Gregory SpaQ Head of Operations With over 15 years of experience Naomi Gregory is one of Australasia s most sought after spa consultants, bringing exceptional wealth of knowledge to the development of spaq, and the Barber Shop located at both QT Canberra and QT Sydney. In the last decade, Gregory has built an impressive portfolio including working and consulting at world-renowned spa locations such as Chiv-Som International Health Resort in Hua Hin Thailand. Prior to her involvement in these prestigious spa projects, Gregory developed and managed her own health retreat in Byron Bay and later made the switch from operator to consultant after overseeing more than 25 spa locations in three countries for Mandara Spa Asia.

After completing her studies in Melbourne, Roberts left to explore Europe and Asia, seeking inspiration and spent nearly a decade in the United Kingdom refining her opulent style. Since returning home to Australia, Roberts has completed numerous design and styling projects along with lecturing at RMIT University. Responsible for the buying and merchandising for Qtique boutiques and adding finishing touches to each individual guest room at QT Canberra, Roberts sources the most unique, quirky elements to give the guest rooms a definitive guest experience.
