Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery, with our professional driver at the wheel. Begin each day with a Scripture verse and prayer. Breaks and Lunch en route to North Little Rock, Arkansas. Check-in Best Western Plus hotel. Dinner included. Day 2 - Saturday, June miles to St. Louis - The Arch (B) Deluxe Continental Breakfast at hotel. Break and lunch en route. This afternoon visit the famous St. Louis Arch area. Time to visit the arch go to the top, prowl the excellent Lewis and Clark museum, watch an IMAX movie, shop have dinner your choice on your own all on the original cobblestone streets of the old river dock warehouse area along the Mississippi. 2 Day 5 - Tuesday, June 5 Carriage tour of Mackinac Island (B,D) Note: Mackinac & Mackinaw both pronounced: Mackinaw. Now you won t sound like a fudgie! Deluxe Continental Breakfast at hotel. Shepler s Ferry will take you to Mackinac Island. You will enjoy a horse-drawn Carriage tour of the island. Leisure time to explore on your own, enjoying the sights, the shops, and plenty of their famous fudge. Return to Mackinaw City. Dinner is included. Our second night at Holiday Inn Express at the Bridge. Day 6 - Wednesday, June 6 Michilimackinac -202 miles to Frankenmuth (B,D) Deluxe Continental Breakfast at hotel. Morning sightseeing including in-costume Colonial Michilimackinac village. A scenic afternoon drive to quaint Bavarian Frankenmuth. Stroll the many shops. Included dinner at Bavarian Inn. 3 Regarding our hotels: We will stay in excellent 3-star or above hotels: Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Best Western Plus and Drury Inns. Caledonian Tours continually inspects these hotels and at their discretion may make changes to hold to these standards. You probably know the first three, but let me introduce the Drury Inns. Included with an excellent room is the 5:30 Kickback each night and a full hot breakfast buffet every morning. The 5:30 Kickback features a rotating menu of a variety of hot food, which could be hot dogs, or chicken strips, or macaroni & cheese, or baked potatoes, or a nacho bar and more! Also included is a coupon for beer, wine, mixed drinks or soft drinks. For some of you it will be a snack before you go out for dinner. For others it will be plenty for supper. The hot breakfast includes scrambled eggs, sausage, Belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, bagels, pastries, juices, hot and cold cereals, toast, milk, coffee, tea and more. Both included in the price of your room. How strenuous is this tour? Light-medium. There will be some walking / strolling to see most events. The bus does not have a handicap lift, so you would need to be able to manage the steps up into the bus. CALEDONIAN S TRIP CANCELLATION WAIVER Caledonian Coach and Tours provides a Trip Cancellation Waiver which may be purchased in addition to their tour packages. This waiver provides a means to recover monies paid in case of sudden illness or other unforeseen circumstances which may force cancellation of a trip. Cancellation waiver payments are nonrefundable, nontransferrable, and must be paid with your deposit. All legitimate cancellation and refund requests should be submitted through your group leader(s) as soon as the decision is made. Requests involving health issues may need to be accompanied by a doctor s statement. Other requests may also need to be documented. This trip cancellation waiver plan is NOT medical or life insurance! The policy covers only actual tour costs. Coverage: The Trip Cancellation Waiver entitles you to reimbursement for all non-forfeited, refundable, unused payments or deposits due to: unexpected illness, injury, or death of tour participant (including travel companion) or family members; injury or illness so disabling as to reasonably cause a trip to be delayed, interrupted, or cancelled; acts of God to tour participant s home by fire, flood, burglary, vandalism, or natural disaster, making it uninhabitable; or weather conditions causing delay or cancellation of trip. If Caledonian were to cancel a tour, the cost of the waiver will also be refunded. Circumstances Not Covered: Carrier-caused delays such as mechanical difficulties; travel arrangements cancelled by tour operator other than Caledonian, airline, or cruise line (Caledonian will assist, however, to the greatest extent possible in receiving compensation from the parties involved); changes in tour participant s personal plans ( I changed my mind. ); financial circumstances ( I don t think I can afford to go. ); business or contractual obligations; or any government regulation or prohibition, war, civil disorder, nuclear reaction or contamination. Limitations: Full refund except waiver fee will be paid for all cancellations prior to seven days before departure. Cancellations between 7 days and 48 hours before departure will incur a 25% penalty. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure will incur a 50% penalty. No refund will be paid in case of no-shows or cancellations occurring after tour has commenced. Please be aware that recovering fees paid to vendors for each individual tour is a time-consuming process one that Caledonian pursues diligently whenever the need arises. Reimbursement to individual travelers, however, can only occur if and when Caledonian is, indeed, able to obtain refunds from its vendors.
