An overnight flight will bring you to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Meals: In Flight Day 2 Arrival in Prague Upon arrival in Prague, we will board a deluxe motorcoach and enjoy a short driving tour of this beautiful and well-preserved city. After checking into our hotel, we ll enjoy a welcome dinner near the city s famous Old Town. Meals: D Day 3 Prague City Tour / Afternoon at Leisure Today we ll enjoy a walking tour of Prague where we ll learn of its fascinating history and see famous sites, such as the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, the Prague astronomical clock, and more. The afternoon will be at your leisure to continue exploring the city. Meals: B Passau, Germany 2 3 Charles Bridge - Prague Day 4 Passau Tour / Amadeus Queen This morning we ll depart Prague and travel to the town of Passau, Germany. Often referred to as the City of Three Rivers, this Bavarian city boasts a beautiful cathedral, cobblestone streets, and a stunning landscape. We ll enjoy a tour and learn about Passau s history. This afternoon we ll board the brand new Amadeus Queen as we begin our journey down the Danube. This evening, enjoy a cocktail welcome party, followed by a specially-prepared dinner. Meals: B, D

5 Day 5 Regensburg Today we ll visit Regensburg. This UNESCO site boasts architecture from different centuries, reflective of its varied history. The stone bridge, built between , the Church of St James, and the Schloss of Thurn and Taxis are a few of the highlights of this beautiful city. Back onboard, we ll experience a Bavarian evening with lively traditional music and a dinner of local specialties. Meals: B, L, D Day 6 Linz / Optional Salzburg Today, you can continue to explore the town of Passau or take part in a full day excursion out to the Mozart town of Salzburg and the lake district of the Salzkammergut. This afternoon, the ship will sail to Linz. Those who do not venture to Salzburg can spend the afternoon on their own or take a guided tour through this Upper Austrian town before the ship weighs anchor in the evening. Meals: B, L, D Day 7 Melk / Weissenkirchen This morning we ll visit the famous Benedictine Abbey of Melk which stands over the Danube, or continue with the vessel to the town of Weissenkirchen. Here, sample some of the region s famous Riesling wines or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the cobbled streets. Everyone will rejoin the ship in the early afternoon to continue on to Vienna. Meals: B, L, D Esztergrom Basilica - Hungary Day 10 Budapest We ll relax onboard as the vessel travels to Budapest, Hungary. For those interested in exploring the Hungarian countryside, spend the morning visiting Esztergom with its Basilica dedicated to Saint Mary, and Szentendre, known for its art galleries and museums. After lunch, we ll explore the beautiful Hungarian capital of Budapest, which uniquely straddles the Danube river. The Buda side with its Fisherman s Bastion and the Pest Side with its famous Hungarian Parliament building, are connected by the beautiful Chain Bridge. An evening cruise along the illuminated skyline, accompanied by a folklore show of music and dance, is a perfect ending to an unforgettable adventure. Meals: B, L, D Benedictine Abbey of Melk Day 8 Vienna Today we ll tour the famous city of Vienna. We ll be inspired by its Imperial palaces, Museums Quarter, the impressive buildings along the Ringstrasse, St. Stephen s Cathedral, and the famous Vienna State Opera among many other sites. This afternoon you ll have the option to take a tour of Schönbrunn Palace, the sumptuous summer palace and gardens of Empress Maria Theresia and the Habsburg empire. This evening you can relax and continue exploring the city or enjoy an optional excursion to the Sound of Vienna and listen to the Alt Wien orchestra play popular pieces from Vienna s classical era. Meals: B, L, D Day 9 Bratislava Overnight we ll travel downriver towards Bratislava, arriving in the Slovakian capital at breakfast time. In the morning, we ll enjoy a tour of this impressive city. In the afternoon, you may consider visiting the Imperial Festschloss Hof, which was once the country residence of Empress Maria Theresia and which is situated in Austria, not far from the Slovakian border.
