The reason why we decided to let our village to organizers is easily explained the concept simply matched perfectly with our village and local conditions. Especially, in light of our upward tendencies in the sectors of culture and tourism, this is a wonderful opportunity for presenting Goldegg as open and hospitable destination for events. With a total of 15 event facilities all of which equipped with state-of-theart conference technology -Goldegg Palace and newly established House Einklang ( Harmony ) in its direct proximity provide sufficient space for your successful event. Adorable village Goldegg is a small municipality of about 2400 citizens in the county of St. Johann im Pongau, located at Salzach River in Salzburg. Goldegg was founded in Being situated away from any transit traffic on a sunny high plateau 825 meters above sea level, tourism has established itself in Goldegg over the past years. Goldegg s probably best known monument is the palace located right at the entrance to the village. Initially built as castle back in the 14 th century, Goldegg Palace today is the region s meeting place and cultural center. Apart from cultural association, painting academy and Pongau s local museum, it also accommodates a café with a terrace that offers a magnificent view onto Lake Goldegg. MOUNTAIN INN OBERFORSTHOF ALM In only 20 minutes, the shuttle bus will take you to the rustic mountain inn Oberforsthof Alm in St. Johan im Pongau. Up to 250 people can be catered (seated) in the comfortable restaurant. Additionally there are three further rustic rooms for your event. HOTEL POST 4-star Hotel Post is located right at Lake Goldegg and its kitchen staff knows how to treat guests with regional specialties. The premises mainly made from timber admit up to 150 people for comfortable nights out. EINKLANG HALL Einklang Hall is located right next to Goldegg Palace and makes an ideal venue for any kind of larger-scale events. It admits a total of up to 300 people (incl. gallery) for CONFERENCES and SEMINARS. The room can be separated for up to 60 people. Additionally, the hall makes an ideal venue for late-night events. For instance, we can arrange for gala nights for up to 248 people. The available stage provides ideal conditions for speakers, show acts, and bands.
