3 1. ACTIVITY Pagoni Construction Company services the administration, management, construction and supervision of public and private construction projects of a broad variety types in Greece. The company provides: Engineering Consultancy Design and Construction of any type of private projects, including industrial and residential spaces, commercial offices, healthcare and educational institutions, museums, tourist and housing estate developments. and Construction of public projects, as certified by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Greece, allowing industrial and residential spaces, commercial offices, healthcare and educational institutions, museums, tourist and housing estate developments. Towards the above role the company integrates the relevant capacity to provide project feasibility studies, scheduling, estimating, budgeting, bid packaging, engineering and status reporting, as well as as-built documentation, all services disciplined by the company s quality assurance policy.

4 2. HISTORY Vasileios Pagonis, the founder of the company, had been contracting for public infrastructure in South Greece since late 1880s. The evolving construction activity for the delivery of railway infrastructure all the way from Athens to Thessaloniki led V. Pagoni to settle business and family in Thessaloniki in V. Pagoni s sons continued the construction business by contracting for the delivery of public projects in northern Greece until Vasileios Pagonis, the grandson of the founder, established Pagoni Construction in Vasileios Pagonis, as a Civil Engineer and Contractor, runs the company as a sole proprietorship until 1988, when he transforms the company to V. Pagonis S.A. which as a sociate anonym adopted the regulations and conditions of contract introduced at that time by the government. Contracting with several governmental bodies for the development of challenging and different types of projects, such as Housing Estates and Public Buildings, the company managed to establish an excellent reputation and strong presence in Thessaloniki and North Greece. Today the company continues to follow family business values, while its records in its staff, expertise, equipment, financial situation and technical capacity, allow the company to hold a 4th Class Contractor Certificate for the construction of Public Works awarded from the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of Greece.

8 PROJECTS PUBLIC SECTOR Museums Project Title: Aiani Archaeological Museum Project Description: Construction of a two storey building erected on a sloping ground to house the Aiani Archaeological Museum consisting of a total area of m2, out of which m2 form the ground floor which serves for storerooms, laboratories, offices, library, and other facilities, while first floor serves exhibitions for public. The project included the roads around the museum, electro-mechanical installations. ( Project Client: Ministry of Culture and Tourism Industrial Buildings Project Title: Kastorian Fur Exhibition Center Construction Period: Project Description: Industrial building for furs, composed of a 24,000 m2 concrete structure located at Kastoria, build for EDIKA S.A. which is a company incorporating approximately shareholding furriers. 12 Residential Construction 17 Housing Settlements Client: Worker s Housing Organisation ( The Worker s Housing Organisation (OEK) was founded in 1954, with the aim of providing housing to the workers and employees who do not own a residence. In conformity with the legal procedures governing the construction of public works, OEK commissions the construction of Housing Settlements to private construction companies and supervises construction works progress. All housing settlements include big (80-130m2) houses constructed to very high standards and provide social infrastructure and communal facilities such as complete networks of roads and pedestrian walkways, squares, playgrounds, sports grounds, green spaces, shopping centre and a special hall for meetings and cultural events. Pagonis Construction has completed a total of 17 Housing Settlements for OEK in various areas of Greece. Each Project Title refers to the name of the regional area the settlement is situated.
