2 DAY 5 Sunday, June 16: Reykjavik Prestwick, Scotland Biarritz, France NM Fly to Biarritz. Situated on the Atlan c coast in southwestern France, Biarritz is a luxurious seaside des na on located about 22 miles from the border with Spain. At the end of the day, enjoy a magnificent Biarritz sunset from the hotel solarium. Hotel du Palais / Breakfast and Dinner Chateau Frontenac ITINERARY DAY 1 Wednesday, June 12: Quebec City We ll meet in the late a ernoon for introduc ons and an extensive briefing covering the general procedures of our journey as we prepare for tomorrow s departure. A erwards, we ll enjoy a welcome cocktail and dinner at the hotel. DAY 6 Monday, June 17: Biarritz We ll explore the French Basque Country as we work our way to Tarbes. A er lunch we ll visit the Daher factory. Tracing its origins to the pioneering Morane-Saulnier avia on company and more recently the well-known SOCATA Daher is the world s oldest aircra manufacturer in opera on today. Our flight then con nues over southern Greenland s beau ful scenery before landing at Kangerlussuaq. 3 DAY 9 Thursday, June 20: Paris This morning we ll transfer to Le Bourget Airport - once Paris main airport and where Charles Lindbergh landed a er his transatlan c flight in 1927, site of the world s largest Air Show and Plane Exhibi on (up to 350 exhibitors and 40 countries represented). Some may choose to spend the day visi ng Paris most famous sights. Op onal tours can be arranged including a visit to the Louvre Museum, Orsay Museum, a local Cooking Class, Wine Tas ng, etc. Plaza Athenee / Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner DAY 12 Sunday, June 23: Caen Experience a journey of discovery when we visit the sites of D-day (June 6, 1944) - the largest invasion force in history! Codenamed OVERLORD, it delivered five naval assault divisions to the beaches of Normandy (codenames UTAH, OMAHA, GOLD, JUNO and SWORD). We will walk among the cliffs, bunkers and edges that old soldiers s ll talk about, visit several museums, D-Day memorials and the very moving American Cemetery. Chateau de Canisy / Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner DAY 13 Monday, June 24: Caen Today is at leisure to relax at the chateau or explore on your own. Guests are welcome to explore the park, comprised of French and English gardens, with the opportunity to go for many different and fascina ng walks around the ponds to watch the colony of swans that live there, in the vegetable garden, through the woods along the paths leading to a valley and to explore the nature reserve where llamas, alpacas, stags, deer, does, sheep, goats, pigs, peacocks, hens, swans, and squirrels roam free. Paris Chateau de Canisy / Breakfast and Dinner DAY 10 Friday, June 21: Paris Today we will return to Le Bourget to con nue our visit of the Air Show. Op onal tours will be offered. We will meet in the evening to transfer to Bateaux- Parisiens where we will enjoy dinner while sailing on the Seine River with outstanding views of Paris and its beau ful architecture along the quays. CANCELLATION POLICY Given outside of 90 days of departure: Air Journey retains the plane registra on fee Between 90 and 60 days of departure: Air Journey retains 50% of the tour cost plus the plane registra on fee Between 59 and 45 days of departure: Air Journey retains 75% of the tour cost plus the plane registra on fee Less than 45 days or No Show of departure: Air Journey retains 100% of the tour cost plus the plane registra on fee Note: Travel and Cancella on Insurance is strongly recommended and not included in the package.
