2 In brief USAIRE hosts frequent luncheons in Paris and Toulouse with top-level guest speakers from industry and government. Professionally, these luncheons provide an opportunity for networking and to discuss point-of-views with participants and the guest speaker. Student development is another focus through our Student Awards and several other initiatives towards youth. Once a year, our American Thanksgiving celebration and Toulousian Golf outing provide additional venue for getting together. Founded in Paris in 1959 by US Industry, USAIRE is a business association based in Paris with a South-West Chapter located in Toulouse; progressively, USAIRE has become a Paris-based Transatlantic Association aimed at improving business contacts & cooperation in the aerospace and defence community. between the U.S. and Europe.
