2 Festival commemorating the declaration of Eivissa as a World Heritage Site 2017 Welcome, This year Eivissa Medieval reaches the age of majority. It s now an established and internationally renowned festival commemorating and promoting the declaration by Unesco of Eivissa as a World Heritage city in Everyone living in Eivissa is proud of this exceptional status. That s why Eivissa Medieval has become an essential event for teaching about and spreading our heritage. These days thousands of people come from all over the world to a unique festival in this unbeatable setting, filled with one-of-a-kind heritage and scenery. The Renaissance city walls will accompany you over the four days where you travel back in time, and find the neighbourhoods of Dalt Vila and Marina brimming with activity and colour, with the traditional market, local cuisine, concerts and performances which just keep impressing audiences year after year. From all of us at Eivissa Town Hall, we invite you to participate in the different acts and activities we ve worked hard and enthusiastically on for the 18th edition of Eivissa Medieval so that all of us can open up our senses and let them travel back in time.
