PALMA DE MALLORCA Palma de Mallorca has recently headed the list of "the best cities to live in the world", made by a recognized international newspaper, highlighting its "picturesque old town", its "slow charm" and the variety of luxury shops the city has. A city in a beautiful island in which it emphasizes its easy access and the short distance to the one that is of the airport and of beautiful Mediterranean beaches. Palma, proudly displays important artistic and architectural monuments, such as the Cathedral of Santa María, a Gothic landmark begun in the 13th century that dominates the Bay, the adjacent Almudaina, an Arab-style fortress converted into a royal residence, or, the Bellver Castle, a medieval fortress with a distinctive circular shape. Palma has it all, from shops, international restaurants, historical monuments, museums, impressive architecture and a vibrant night scene. 2. SANT JAUME AND ITS SURROUNDINGS The Sant Jaume Boutique Hotel stands in the heart of the old quarter of Palma on one of the city s oldest streets nestled between two important historic buildings: the Church of Sant Jaume and Santa Magdalena Convent. Both are examples of fifteenth-century Gothic architecture still preserved on the island. The hotel occupies a house dating from the eighteenth century. On the ground floor, you will find the reception, hallway, lobby, restaurant, cocktail lounge and spa. The hotel rooms are on the three storeys above it. The fourth floor provides a sundeck with a plunge pool, designer loungers, showers and stunning views of the old quarter and the cathedral. From here our guests can marvel at life in Palma from up high. The Sant Jaume hotel is not far from Paseo del Borne, the city s best and most luxurious shopping area, and a five-minute walk from the Paseo Marítimo promenade. The hotel s prime location is undoubtedly one of its main attractions.

GASTRONOMY TOMEU RESTAURANT AMB ARRELS A classic Mallorcan cuisine concept where product and ingredients from the Balearic Islands take centre stage so we can showcase the main dishes of Majorca with a special nod to the city of Palma and its surrounding area. Our objective is for even the most local to become universal. Our roots have become a starting point to explore and discover through taste and our other senses. The creative team at the restaurant is led by Tomeu Caldentey, the first Majorcan chef to be awarded a Michelin star. At Tomeu service is as important as the cooking, participation and dedication to reintroducing the value of a restaurant s role by reviving the conventions and rhythms of its great past and adapting them to the modern day. We also have a wine selection that reaffirms our commitment to the same mission as our cuisine s. A journey through aromatic notes and memories that begins in Mallorca and the Balearic Islands and then explores the most representative wine-making areas and their most characteristic varieties with the ultimate aim of harmoniously marrying with the dish. BARTOMEU MACERADOS & CO. At BARTOMEU we have revived the tradition and artistry of an age-old technique: maceration. We only use natural products and the best distillates in this process. By macerating we can again offer classic cocktails with a personal touch and a surprising range of colours. Infusion, maceration, memory: the spirit of a vermouth bar combined with the elegance of a cocktail lounge. SANT JAUME BREAKFAST A classic scene with product as the star again. You can enjoy a buffet-style breakfast with regional specialities and a philosophy focused on the endless ways of preparing eggs. Tomeu also provides a distinctive touch with signature dishes specially designed for such an important meal.

6 5. WELLNESS INDOOR WELLNESS Space with natural light set aside for relaxing and balancing the body and mind. Located on the first basement floor, it can be accessed directly from the hotel s main floor or directly from the rooms. We offer a variety of treatments designed to revitalise guests, based on age-old therapies and philosophies using modern techniques. All the treatments are prepared using top-quality organic products. You can also book private yoga and Pilates classes. The hotel has devised a running route for guests next to the sea if you would like to round off your routine outside. We also offer a personalised training service. SUNDECK The sundeck is on the hotel s fourth floor. It is a private refuge for our guests where they can marvel at life in Palma from a height. It affords stunning views of the city s old quarter and cathedral. Its superb location allows you to soak up the sun s energy during the main part of the day. There is a plunge pool, shower area and loungers. We also provide a drinks and massage service to ensure you can really switch off completely without leaving the hotel.

7 6. HOW TO ARRIVE TO THE HOTEL From the airport, take the motorway heading for Palma. At the end of the motorway you will arrive at the Passeig Marítim promenade. Go straight on in the right-hand lane. When you reach Palma, take the second turning on the right signposted Avenidas (Avinguda Gabriel Alomar i Villalonga). You will see a petrol station on your left. Take the central lane and stay in it until you arrive at Avinguda d Alemanya, where you must get in the left lane to turn towards Via Roma. Bear in mind that the distance covered in this journey is around 2 km. You will pass El Corte Inglés department store on your right, and after 500 m you will pass the Plaça d Espanya square on your left. You will then enter Avinguda del Comte de Sallent and you must then continue along Avinguda de Alemanya until you reach the turning signposted Via Roma on your left. Once you are on this street, you will pass the Via Roma public car park. Take the next street on the right, Carrer del Jardí Botànic, and you will see the sign Acire Sant Jaume. This is a restricted area that you can access as a hotel guest. On the left, you will find the Plaça de Santa Magdalena square and immediately afterwards Carrer de Sant Jaume, where the hotel is located. 7.
