Walk down Avenida Libertador, a tree-lined boulevard that is Buenos Aires most important avenue starting at Plaza Francia with its elegant monument, a gift from the people of France, seeing the statue of former Argentine president Bartolome Mitre on horseback View the statue of Evita Perón on the site of the former presidential mansion torn down after her husband Juan Perón was ejected from office. Pass the National Library, a unique modern structure that resembles a UFO. 6 Day 4 Time to explore Córdoba Travel to Rosario, the largest city in the province of Santa Fe, in central Argentina Check in Overnight Rosario Day 5 Guided city tour of Rosario The wealth generated by the vast regional agricultural landholdings has resulted in the city boasting many eyecatching buildings of contrasting styles - neoclassical, art nouveau, and baroque Rosario is best known as home of the Argentine Monument to the National Flag, an imposing 200-foot tall tower of unpolished marble dedicated to the national flag and patriotic causes.
