12 5. Bartering/Rental Agreements (equipment and RV's) 1. Rental agreement about R/V Akademik and equipment is signed with American company Melrose Source. 2. Rental agreement about R/V Akademik and equipment is signed with EU JRC (Ispra,ITALY) with participants from Italy, Holland at all. 3. Rental agreement about R/V Akademik and equipment is signed with UNDP-BSGRP 4. Rental agreement about R/V Akademik and equipment will be signed in July with WHOI.

13 The American company Melrose Source, has signed the first gas concession agreement offered in Bulgaria to a foreign operator. The agreement covers the exploitation of a gas field close to Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, near the port of Varna, Galata deposit. This year Melrose Source rented R/V Akademik for 19 days geological and geochemical survey. This rent helped us to make class repair of R/V Akademik.

15 7. Cooperation with other agencies 1. It will be signed agreements in 2007 with Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) and Institute of Oceanology of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IOBAS).
