3 GUEST PERFORMING ARTISTS Le Nozze di Figaro. Soprano MELODY LOULEDJIAN began her career at the Grand Théâter of Bordeaux in Le Balcon by Peter Eotvos, where she sang the role of Carmen. She has appeared at several international festivals. In 2018, Melody is part of the Young Ensemble of the Grand Théâtre of Geneva, and will sing the roles of Elsbeth in Fantasio, Arsena in The Gypsy Baron, and Barberine in KÉVIN AMIEL is one of the most talented tenors of his generation. His most recent roles include Flavio (Norma) with the Rouen Opera, Normanno (Lucia di Lammermoor) with the Ile de France National Orchestra at the Théâtre des Champs- Élysées, and the title role in Les contes d Hoffmann for the Dijon Opera. He also performed the title role in Siegfried for the Saint-Etienne Opera. Violinist NEMANJA RADULOVIC was recognized as Best Artist at the 2013/14 Victoires de la Musique (MIDEM Prize). Since then he has played at the world s most important venues: Carnegie Hall in New York, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Philharmonic in Berlin, Megaron in Athens, Salle Pleyel and Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, and Suntory Hall in Tokyo, among others. He also performs with the top orchestras in Europe, Asia, and America. Franco-Belgian cellist CAMILLE THOMAS has won numerous prizes at national and international competitions. She signed as an exclusive artist with Deutsche Grammophon International, a first for a female cellist on this prestigious label. In 2018 Camille is playing the world premiere of Fazil Say s cello concerto, a piece he is writing especially for her. LAURE FAVRE-KAHN was unanimously awarded a Premier Prix at the age of seventeen. At twenty, she made her first recording of works by Schumann, followed a year later by a CD devoted to Chopin. She makes regular appearances in Europe, the U.S., and Asia, as well as various international orchestras including the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris. She won first prize at the International Pro Piano in New York and gave a recital at Carnegie Hall. Artists are subject to change.

(R) Friday, September 13 PARIS HONFLEUR EMBARK After breakfast at the hotel, join a private visit to the Palais Garnier, built at the direction of Napoleon III, and home to the Paris Opera ever since. After lunch at a typical Parisian bistro, we continue to Honfleur to embark Le Dumontd Urville. The ship sets sail in the early evening. (B,L,D) Saturday, September 14 DARTMOUTH, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM Arrive in Dartmouth, where we enjoy a tour of Coleton Fischacre House and Garden, a Jazz Age country house near the sea. Built in the Arts & Crafts style, it was the retreat of the D Oyly Carte family whose opera company launched the careers of Gilbert & Sullivan and commissioned many of their works, including HMS Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance. The estate is now owned and maintained by the National Trust. (B,L,D) Sunday, September 15 ISLES OF SCILLY TRESCO ABBEY GARDENS The Isles of Scilly lie some 30 miles off the southwest coast of Cornwall and are believed to have been visited by the ancient Phoenicians. From the port walk to the Tresco Abbey Gardens. Because of the mild winter climate, the long hours of summer sunshine, and the high walls and hedges around the garden protecting it from the Atlantic winds, the garden is now home to exotic plants from all over the world. (B,L,D) Monday, September 16 CORK, IRELAND From Cork, travel through the Irish countryside to the 15 th -century Blarney Castle, famous for its stone, which is traditionally believed to have the power to bestow eloquence on all those who kiss it. The Cobh Heritage Centre offers a dramatic exhibition of the history and legacy of Cobh. (B,L,D) Tuesday, September 17 LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM CHESTER From Liverpool, visit the town of Chester. First settled by the Romans almost 2,000 years ago, Chester boasts one of the UK s most complete circuits of city walls, with sections dating to Roman times. Explore the Gardens outside the walls, which contain a collection of Roman stonework brought here from excavations around Chester. (B,L,D) Wednesday, September 18 FISHGUARD Disembark in early afternoon for a drive along the stunning coastline of Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. End in St. Davids, the smallest city in the United Kingdom, to visit the magnificent cathedral there as well as the adjacent Bishop s Palace, one of three fortified residences of the Bishops of St. Davids. Continue to Penlee House, a gallery and museum in the heart of Penzance that focuses on the works of Newlyn School artists. (B,L,D) Friday, September 20 GUERNSEY Enjoy a walking tour of charming St. Peter Port, the island s main town, followed by a visit to 800-year-old Castle Cornet. The Castle sits on an island that juts into the harbor, and it has played significant roles in the Hundred Years War, the Napoleonic Wars, and the German Occupation of the Channel Islands. These stories are recounted in the museums housed within the castle, and the Castle also houses four period gardens. 7 TERMS & CONDITIONS Compagnie du PONANT, PONANT Group USA, LLC, and PONANT USA, LLC are hereinafter collectively referred to as PONANT GROUP. Please read carefully the following terms and conditions, which constitute the sole, legally enforceable agreements between the passenger and PONANT GROUP and the tour s sponsoring organization. PAYMENT SCHEDULE: In order to secure a booking, the guest is required to pay a 25% deposit per person. Final payment due 90 days prior to departure. CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION PENALTIES & REFUNDS: All cancellations or modifications must be in writing. Any and all guests not reporting for departure or prevented from reporting for departure or waiving for any reason whatsoever the benefit of services included in the program cannot claim any refund. PONANT GROUP shall not be required to refund any monies to any guests who must leave the cruise prematurely for any reason, nor shall PONANT GROUP be held responsible for any costs, fees, damages or causes of action which result from the transportation expenses incurred by guest s early departure. For any deposited or fully paid booking, cancellation penalties will be assessed as noted below. These cancellation penalties are applicable on all services booked with PONANT GROUP. From confirmation of booking date up to 91 days prior departure: 10% of full fare days prior departure: 50% of full fare Within 60 days prior departure: 100% of full fare. TRAVEL INSURANCE: Passengers shall be responsible for subscribing to cancellation/luggage/assistance repatriation/medical insurance(s). ITINERARY: PONANT GROUP reserves the right to withdraw and/ or cancel a sailing to make changes in the itinerary whenever, in its sole judgment, or in the judgment of the vessel owner or operator, conditions warrant it. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS/LIMIT OF LIABILITY: The passenger agrees that PONANT GROUP acts as agent and/or trustee for any person, ground and maritime agents and subcontractors, who provide any service forming, or in connection with, any part of the cruise. Transportation services to the port of departure, transfers to the ship, including, as applicable, hotel room and restaurant bookings or guided tours, are performed by independent suppliers who are not employees of PONANT GROUP. In this respect, PONANT GROUP acts only as an agent and shall not be held liable for said services or for the acts or omissions of sub-contractors or other contractors. PONANT GROUP shall not be held liable for bodily injury to, or death of passengers, or for loss of, or damage to luggage or other personal belongings, unless it is proved that the carrier has infringed statutory obligations or that it or one of its employees or agents has committed gross negligence. However, in the event the liability of PONANT GROUP is incurred, such liability is limited (details available upon request). PONANT GROUP shall in any case not be liable for failure of an improper performance when the same is due to or caused by the fault of the passenger; the unforeseeable or unavoidable fault of a third party unconnected with the provision of any services to be provided under the contract; unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of PONANT GROUP; an event of Force Majeure such as a war, threat of war, riots, civil commotion, acts of God, terrorist activities, natural and nuclear disaster, fire, technical problems with transport, closure of ports, strikes and any industrial action, or any other event beyond the control of PONANT GROUP. RATES: The prices given at the time of booking are based on economic conditions known on April 1, 2018 and are subject to change. These conditions are, amongst others, the cost of transport and fuel, relevant dues and taxes for the proposed operation (port taxes, embarkation and disembarkation taxes, entrance costs to tourist sites), currency exchange rates relevant to the pricing of these programs. PONANT GROUP reserves the right within the legal limits of applicable laws to vary the prices if necessary. All variation of the cost of transport, fuel, taxes, dues and visa costs will be passed on within the voyage cost. Additionally, any surcharge levied will be increased to include an amount to cover agent s commission. Any change in fare cannot be imposed less than 60 days prior to departure.
