In addition to the monthly County Chiefs meeting two other meetings were held with other police chiefs to discuss regional issues; one with the SCASD Superintendent and one with the Fire Company Administrator & EMA director. Lastly, the Criminal Justice Advisory Board and Community & Campus in Unity meetings were attended. Three members of the PD attended (parts of) the Penn Prime Safety Conference. A review as per request of the service calls to Turnberry/The Heights revealed 122 police calls for the year September 1, 2015, thru August 31, (43%) of the calls involved disorders, primarily loud music and/or loud voices; one was a barking dog and one a domestic. The majority of the complainants in those disorder calls (42) came from neighbors within the Heights, 3 came from the neighborhood to the west (Tanager Dr. & Farmstead Ln.), and in 7 the caller refused information so it is not known whether the caller was internal or external to the Heights complex.
