2 Welland Martial Arts Centre 101 Lewis St Welland, ON L3B 4V6 To all competitors: The Peter Ciolfi Memorial Wado Kai Karate Tournament will be on Saturday, April 22 nd, 2017 at Confederation High School starting check-in registration confirmation at 8:30 am. There will be no pre-registration or payment on the day of the tournament. All Pre-registration and payment must be in by 10pm on April 20 th, Entry fees are as follows: $30.00 for one or more events $50.00 for families (2 or more) Shindo: included Synchronize Kata: included You pre-register and pay online by visiting and following the Peter Ciolfi Memorial Tournament registration links. **Registrations and payment will not be accepted the day of the tournament. The opening ceremonies will start at 9:30am. For black belts, the meeting will start at 9:40am. We are also encouraging adults to compete. Registration confirmation times for children and adults to as follows: All Children, Adult and Black Belts Registration Confirmation Check in and Sign in at registration confirmation table at 8:30am - 9am NOTE: Brown and Black Belts we need your help at the tournament! 4 Black Belts Open Kata Division Kata s that are within the Shintani Wado Kai Karate Federation guidelines. See Kata List. Kumite Division (Kyu and Black Belts) Any facial contact results in automatic disqualification from the kumite event. Mandatory Kata Division You must compete in this division in order to compete in Open kata and/or kumite. The role of a die will randomly determine which one of the five Pinan katas will be performed.
