It seems like just last week we were celebrating opening season weekend and now here we are getting ready to start the Spring Tractor Show. Here is some information that you might want: 1. The feature tractor this year is Farmall. 2. The big shelter is full of vendors this year. 3. We will have Gerlach s, Gustin s, Chuck s, and Kettle Cookin again to suppress all your cravings. 4. Sunday we have church service s at 9am with Ed Stevenson then a Kiddy Tractor Pull at 1pm. 5. Make sure you bring an antique tractor for display to receive your discounted camping rate of $10/night. During the tractor show please be very careful when driving through the campground. Try to avoid driving through the flea market area if at all possible and absolutely remember that the speed limit is always 5 Miles Per Hour! I am anticipating a very busy week so the foot traffic will be very heavy. Two issues we had in the past were kids on bikes driving very recklessly as well as children driving golf carts. If you see children speeding through heavy traffic areas on their bikes, just shove a stick in their spokes and they will get the point. Of course I m kidding, politely ask them to slow down and let us know so we can be on the lookout for repeat offenders. The same goes for children driving golf carts, the driver of the cart must be a licensed driver. Let s keep everyone safe this week and have a great time.

2 The Monthly Chatter Page 2 of 6 Sam and Sue Wyrick have been on a winning rampage lately. First Sue s award winning chili won the first annual Poor Farmer s Chili Cook-off and now they have been awarded June Site of the Month. Sam and Sue have been spending a lot of time getting their site in the condition it s in. Choosing Site of the Month was a difficult decision because of all of the beautiful sites in the campground; but when I drove by that beautiful garden with our American Flag in the center my mind was made up. Thank You Sam & Sue, you have worked hard and your site stands out above the rest. ATTENTION CAMPERS!! Hi campers! This is Mike. I would like to ask for your help with something. First I would like to say that the camp sites are looking great. You guys are doing a fantastic job of beautifying your sites. In saying that, I would like to ask you to please double check with me before doing a couple things. 1.) Before placing posts or stakes in the ground. I want to make sure no one is injured or no electric or water lines are damaged in the process of beautification. 2.) Please do not attach satellites, signs, or your wife s underthings to the shelters, electric poles, trees, or flagpoles without first speaking to me. I understand that satellite signal is difficult to get at some spots and decorations can be irresistible, but we can come up with something that will work which doesn t damage any campground property and avoids putting any permanent marks into Pioneer Electric s poles they don t like that. So please, please, please if you are wondering if it s ok to do something with your site and it has anything to do with campground property, please ask before you drill, pound, chop, or reface. This area has improved 100% and everyone at the campground would like to thank the Happy Hollow Crew for their hard work and craftsmanship. Great Job Folks!

Last year a young man approached me with the greatest idea I had ever heard. Let s do a s mores bar! My first thought was how did I not think of that? Then I told him to draw up some plans and I would consider it. Sure enough, the next time I saw Daniel, he had a rough schematic of the s mores bar drawn up. I really enjoyed the s mores, but what I enjoyed most is the enthusiasm that Daniel Leistner put towards his project. Great Job Daniel, I can t wait for the next s mores bar. We re on the Web!
