Attendance at WOFAB is explicit consent to following the above rules and failure to adhere as above SHALL result in your being asked to leave the Park at your cost with no refund given.
Significant Camp Rules Leavenworth RV Park asked us to bring special attention to Quiet Time: 11:00pm to 7:00am these things: Speed limit: 5mph Pedestrians have the right of way. Pets: All pets must be kept on a leash (maximum length is 10ft.) at all times and kept under control. Pets may not enter buildings or swimming areas. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pet. Behavior: Individuals who violate rules and guidelines, or by their actions or words, disturb the peace, create conflict or otherwise create a situation not in keeping with the TT family environment, will be engaging in improper behavior, subjecting themselves and the group to ejection or event termination. Smoking: Smoking is PROHIBITED. Campfires: Campfires are permitted ONLY in designated fireplaces, fire rings or barbecue pits. Firearms/Weapons: No firearms or weapons are allowed on TT property at any time. Camping vehicle" and/or "recreational vehicle" means any vehicle that comfortably sleeps one or more persons overnight on an extended basis. We recognize motorhomes, travel trailers, folding trailers, pickup campers and conversion vans as camping vehicles and/or recreational vehicles. Camping vehicles must be operable and in good condition as determined in our discretion.
"Tent" means a collapsible shelter of nylon or canvas which is supported by a frame or poles. and which does not have a motor and/or is not designed to be pulled as a trailer behind a motor vehicle. Tarps are not permitted. For campsites at all preserves, check-in time and check-out time is 12 noon (enforced at high use preserves and as needed at other preserves). Quiet hours begin at 11 p.m., so members who arrive after 11 p.m. will be directed to park their recreational vehicle in an overflow or designated parking area until the next morning when they may move to a campsite after quiet hours are over. All additional vehicles, whether belonging to a guest or member, will be charged a daily fee. Each member is allowed to use one campsite for an overnight stay. Only one camping vehicle and two tents or, if there is no camping vehicle, three tents are permitted per campsite. In addition, each member is allowed up to 2 noncamping vehicles per campsite. The camping vehicle and noncamping vehicles must be parked on the campsite pad. A member must keep all of his/her property and possessions within the confines of the campsite. Additional vehicles may be parked in common parking areas designated by the Preserve Manager. Vehicles may not be parked in unoccupied campsites. All extra vehicles and guest vehicles (those not driven by a member) are subject to a guest vehicle charge. In keeping with this family environment, members are responsible for the actions and behavior of their family members and guests.
Wait a minute, what is WOFAB? In Washington DeMolay we pride ourselves on the uniqueness of our events, even more so however, we pride ourselves on our brotherhood. Events like WOFAB are how we make this uniqueness and brotherhood possible. WOFAB stands for Weekend of Family and Brotherhood. Every year we change up our theme, our campsite, and the crazy activities going on. If you look at the beginning of the Need 2 Know packet, you will find a schedule of events with some crazy ideas on it (I mean, who was crazy enough to suggest Capture the Mattress?). This year our WOFAB theme is: The Ironman Olympics. We are challenging everyone to come prepared with plenty of excitement and willingness to participate in every (optional) event. As well, we are hosting a polar bear swim and a toga contest to make this feel as if you are at the actual Olympics (hey, you don t know what goes on in the Athlete s Village). And speaking of feeling like you re at the Olympics, we want every Chapter/Region/Visitor campsite to decorate itself as if this were the Olympics. As long as you do these things and have fun, this event will be amazing. Don t forget to relax, enjoy the weather, talk until you re tired of talking, and then stuff your faces with s mores. The Officers of Washington DeMolay cannot wait to see your enthusiasm and get to know you better at the biggest State Event of the year so far.
What to Bring to WOFAB Food for three days/cooking gear (except Saturday dinner). 2. Tent or RV (or find someone else bringing this). 3. Sleeping bag/blankets & pillow. 4. Bug spray. 5. Sunscreen. 6. Swimming suit/ Towel. 7. Deodorant/ Toiletries. 8. Clothes for 3 days (include warm clothes). 9. Flashlight. 10. Firewood. 11. A few extra dollars for concessions. Complete the Medical Release Forms BEFORE arriving for every youth in attendance. ( - go to Online Forms ) (Or print off the last page of the N2K.) Your Registration Fee Includes Saturday Night Dinner! Games and Entertainment! Your Campsite! Lots of great memories with your brothers and family! Banner materials!
Chili Cook Off Rules One chili entry per team! o You can team up with other Chapters if need be. Chili must be prepared on site. o You are in charge of bringing all ingredients and supplies needed. Presentation of Chapter/group chili is required. o Include a 3-5-minute skit using at least 3 individuals. o Skit must include announcing the name of your chili. o The more props and creativeness the better. Scoring will be based on presentation, taste, and creativity. One Chapter/group member will taste the chili before the judges do. The hotter the chili does not mean more points. If you give the judges 3 rd degree burns you will be given a 0 in taste.
Team Flag Guidelines Get your creative brains going and be ready to make a Team flag you ll want to wave around! One Team Flag per Chapter/Group o You can team up with other Chapters if need be. Only Fabric material will be given to your Chapter/group at the opening ceremonies. o Chapters/Groups should bring materials from home. o The crazier the materials the cooler the flag. The supplied fabric must be used as the flag itself. A Team Name should be included on the flag. Judging will be based on teamwork, use of colors, and uniqueness.
