1 2012 Custom-Designed PORSCHE Trips Feedback Peter, Mimi and I had a great time in Germany, and we both wanted to thank you for the excellent arrangements and the good advice you provided. Ken and Mimi Strassner, Sandy Springs, Georgia. Dear Peter, Linda and I want to thank you for creating, engineering, and overseeing the best vacation we have ever had. It is a rare experience to find the combination of competence, expertise, experience and enthusiasm in an organization, but seeing what you do, whom you know, how you understand and accommodate the special interests, needs, and the organization that you have assembled, lead me to conclude that I m seeing a genius at work. From my first contact with you in the futile effort to get to the marriage of my 911 Turbo S engine and body in the winter of 2010, until our safe arrival in Hamburg for our Baltic Cruise, I found nothing less than complete dedication to our goal of a PORSCHE enthusiast s dream. The effort that you invested in that first futile attempt to penetrate the PORSCHE fortress demonstrated that you understood my fanaticism, and you did everything possible to indulge it and help to fulfill my fantasy. That was why I turned to you to set up our drive and factory tour. Your proposals were thoughtful and provided options, and always considered the limitation imposed by my wife s limited endurance. You came up with a great plan, and the final costs were less than your initial estimates. There was Volker Spannagel at the train station in Stuttgart, waiting for us as I stumbled off the ICE train with 3 pieces of luggage. Volker pushed our luggage trolley the half block to the hotel and returned the trolley and even got me my 2 Euro coins back! I loved the trip to the Ludwigsburg Castle, while Linda rested. The cabriolet was a surprise, and the fact that it wasn t an S didn t appear to hinder its acceleration to the MPH that I registered en route to Lindau. Thomas had reassured me that it would be an S but the S went to Ken and Mimi Strassner who arrived the day before. (I forgive you, Thomas. I will settle for one of your 150 MPH bumper stickers.) 2 Lindau couldn t have been nicer. We had a room on the third floor with an incredible harbor view, and fireworks celebrating the sailboat race that had occurred earlier in the day seemed like it had been done for us, personally. It is too bad that your other clients can t command this performance. Our trip to Friedrichshafen to Dornier Museum and the Zeppelin Ride (Thank you Thomas!) was a better choice for us than the castle excursion. Linda loved the Zeppelin ride, as did I. Lake Tegernsee was perfect. The spa, the food, the scenery was spectacular. Rothenburg was picturesque, though our hotel was a bit more medieval than we would have liked, as you had us thoroughly spoiled by that time. My error in leaving a jacket behind brought another challenge in communication, as the staff was not fluent in English. Volker Gempt stepped right in to assure the safe return of my jacket and negate my mistake. I have to laugh over the factory tour as this was my third attempt. First in 1969, when the tour was unavailable, I signed a paper for the virtual delivery of my second PORSCHE. You know about the failed attempt to witness the marriage in December Well this factory tour was just great until the guide, a Canadian and fluent in German, apologized for the unavailability of the marriage station due to some electrical repairs taking place. Meeting the Strassners was a pleasure and Volker Gempt and his stories were perhaps the highlight of our vacation. By the end of the day, we wanted to meet Nobuko, and we urged Volker to write a memoir as his story was fascinating. After the thrill at 150 and knowing the top end of the Turbo S, I can t help but dream of 175. So I m motivated to consider delivery of a 991 Turbo for another shot at marriage, and either the lake region of Italy, possibly the Amalfi Coast, or the French Riviera. I know there is a break in period for a new car, so 175 is probably unrealistic. We are convinced that you know the terrain and understand the enthusiasm. We will be back.for sure. 3 Dear Peter, We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. The Nürburgring was awesome. The biggest highlights were driving the 991S, driving it on the Autobahn and through the Alps, the day with Volker, and visiting the Porsche restoration shop and museum. The restoration shop tour was an extremely pleasant and enjoyable surprise! I can't praise Volker enough. He was a true pleasure to spend the day with. Dave and Nancy Buehmann, Colorado I wanted to take a moment to tell you about our German adventure. From my perspective, the customer service made the difference. Your expertise is apparent. The attention to detail was incredible. My area of expertise is investments. I do not have the time to immerse myself in the planning aspect. So having a custom designed trip was wonderful. The flights booked, the room reservations made, being met at the airport, Volker, the birthday cake, the plaque, the restaurants and tours and of course, driving enhanced the experience. Tom who is a history buff, a Porsche enthusiast, as well as a lover of all things German enjoyed the museums, the factory tour, the culture, and the driving experience. He would like to go back, to see Austria and to spend more time there! The intimacy of the trip suited him perfectly. Volker and Tom seemed to know each other forever! 4 shared a love for the culture and the autos. That certainly made the difference on many levels. We are discussing the spring tour as well as perhaps another custom tour perhaps with a few close friends. Be well and thank you for the experience! All of the accommodations you made for us were wonderful. The company and cuisine could not have been better. We truly saw parts of these countries that we would never have been able to enjoy had it not been for following you down winding roads through idyllic countryside. It could not have been any better. Our stay in both Munich and Vienna were wonderful. Sandra and the guide in Munich both did a wonderful job. It was a great treat to meet Hans Pfisterer and see the Vienna Boys Choir facilities. He and Gitti were so kind to invite us into their home and share a family meal with us. 5 We had high expectations that were derived from the publicity materials and the price. It is a rare occasion when our expectations are exceeded. It has happened only twice in recent years - The Rocky Mountaineer train and The PCA PORSCHE Treffen by Fast Lane Travel, Inc. We expected a new 991, we got just that. We expected good hotels and we got them. We expected knowledgeable guides and we got them in spades. We did not expect the depth of attention to detail - the cars lined up for us each morning, fresh bottles of water at the ready, iced water with all meals [this simply doesn't happen in Europe], the intimate knowledge of everything that goes on at Zuffenhausen etc etc. You did exceed our expectations and in doing so the price became a relative bargain. Very well done! Andrew and Nicola Combes, Perkinsfield, Ontario, Canada Bob & Nancy's 991 Adventure: Cross #1 off the Bucket List...Autobahn at HIGH SPEED! On May 1 st we participated in Fast Lane Travels 100 th Porsche Treffen. Peter Sontag and Thomas Höferlin, the owners, have been doing this for 37 years and the experience was orchestrated as if done by Porsche engineers. Our choice of any Porsche model, except Turbo or GT2/3, was a 991 Cabriolet. A month or so before the trip Peter informed us the Cabriolet was not yet available. So rather than a 997 Cabriolet we said a coupe would have to do. However, upon signing the car documents I noticed it said Cabriolet and I asked if it was a 997. Due to Peter's relationship with Porsche he was able to secure for us the 991 Cabriolet with a whole 62 kilometers on the odometer Copyright Fast Lane Travel, Inc. 5 of Participants Feedback

6 After breakfast the next day, out on the parking area there sits our metallic gray 991 Cabriolet with 20" wheels, sport exhaust, PDK and the icing on the cake...a Carrera S! After a briefing on the interior controls, push a button the top unlatches itself and disappears into the read deck area. Push another button and a windscreen rises behind the seats. The top from then on was only up when parked at night. Turn the key and the 3.8 motor comes to life with the sound of the sport exhaust and nirvana has begun. I never thought I would have a Porsche with an automatic transmission, but the 991 PDK is awesome. I drove in automatic for a while and then switched to manual mode with thumb and forefinger on either side of the wheel shifting, and it was split second shifts through the gears thereafter. Switch the sport exhaust from 'tame' to sport and the exhaust tone will compete with any V-8 or V-10, especially in tunnels and on narrow streets. On the unlimited speed zone we got separated from our group by a slower car passing a truck and once it moved over...open ROAD! Down shift to 4th, pedal down, up to 5th, up to 6th at 263 km/h, (approximately 164 mph), caught the group and Nancy's hair didn't even get messed! 7 the opportunity wasn't there to go faster! On day two, cruising at over 100 mph, we hit a heavy rain storm for about 20 minutes. We had the top down and no one slowed so we could put the top up, but we didn't even get wet. After some reluctance on Nancy's part, I told her, "You have to drive this incredible car" (I think she just didn't want to erase the constant smile from my face). Anyway she consented, drove as fast as 135 mph and even succumbed to the magic of the manual shift mode. Her only disappointment was that On a long winding downhill road the sport plus suspension mode came into play and the road to steering wheel feedback was incredible. The scenery was reminiscent of the "Sound of Music", although we enjoyed the symphony of the 3.8 sport exhaust soundtrack instead. All in all, the Treffen exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it be added to any ones Bucket List. The 991: There aren't enough words to describe this car...! Bob Sherwood and Nancy Abruzzini, Santa Rosa, California This was the trip Ann arranged for my 50 th Birthday. Since going to Europe and driving on the Autobahn have been on my "Bucket List" for some time, this seemed like a perfect set up. Little did we know it would be the most luxurious and pampered trip we have ever been on. Peter and Thomas know how to live. From day one thinking became an option. Just let them do it for you. Blair Baertsch, Boise, Idaho First I'd like to say that your level of organizational genius made all the difference. The fact that you could organize the group so efficiently, yet still make sure everyone got what they wanted, AND include personal touches (even just little comments, jokes, etc.) was very much appreciated. Regarding expectations: When planning a nice trip, I tend to let mine get so high that nobody could possibly meet them, and I end up being vaguely disappointed. With this trip, since we had so long to plan and get excited, I was worried this would happen again, because honestly, my expectations were extremely high. 8 am so happy to say that for once, I had ZERO disappointments, and like I said, the personal touches and attention you included really made us feel like more than just another Treffen-goer. The main reason we decided to take the trip is that the itineraries were put together in such a way that they included many of Blair's bucket list items. We actually had some trouble deciding WHICH itinerary suited us the most. There was no "settling." do another trip in the future! Ann Baertsch, Boise, Idaho Thanks again for making the trip such a great experience and helping me fulfill a life long goal/dream of seeing Germany in a Porsche. Fast Lane Travel made it so much easier and pleasant than I thought it could be. 9 Sinsheim, James got there on the trip to Lindau (260k) and I again on the trip from Lindau (264k). This only leaves 265+k for the next trip as a goal. Hopefully in a Cabriolet again as it's quite a thrill to do these speeds with the top down. Your trips are so well organized and always have been. It's a pleasure to be part of your "paramilitary" operations as I'm a bit of an "on time" freak in my business life and appreciate it when I'm forced to retain that concept. For the rest of deciding factors refer to my article in PANO! The trips are fun fun fun for me. James also enjoyed it and has returned mumbling about buying a Porsche. Of course I'm going to return! Don't think any changes in concept are needed. 10 As a long time Porsche owner, I wanted to see how the car is built and drives it in the environment for which it was designed. In this regard, my expectations were somewhat met. If you know how the cars were built in the 60 s and 70 s, the craftsmanship put into the body construction, hand assembly of the engines, quality inspection, etc, really set Porsche apart fro US manufacturers of that era. Manufacturing technology has changes and Porsche has adopted it. We wanted to see Black Forest Elves building the car. Autobahn driving was great. The museum was quite impressive. Volker Gempt was outstanding! His knowledge of Porsche and German culture really added a lot to our having a wonderful time. The price and duration of the Treffen was right. We were going on to England for 3 weeks and the shorter budget tour fit our schedule. Driving and the car are the main attractions for me. Sightseeing is secondary and is good for a break from driving. Rothenburg ob der Tauber was just such a break. A trip I d like to make in the next couple years is to drive on the Nürburgring, the Mille Miglia route and the Targa Florio routes. Best regards, Doug and Jean Stark, Mississauga, ON, Canada 2012 the 80 th Running of the 24 Hours Le Mans Race, France Hi Peter, The trip was absolutely fabulous. It more than met our expectations -- really, it was above and beyond what we imagined it might be. The 24 Hours of Le Mans has been on our bucket list for some time, and after the fabulous honeymoon trip we had with you, we knew we wanted to do your Le Mans trip. This was a milestone birthday year for both John and Joe, so we decided to go ahead and splurge on the trip this year. Some of us had a bit of "sticker shock," but we told everyone it would be an excellent value, and we were proven right. We missed you, of course, but Robin and his team are a delightful group of people. They took great care of us, were very prompt and caring in responding to a small issue we had, and were just all around fun folks to hang around with. Jack and (shoot, I can't remember his name right now!) gave an excellent tour of Normandy. He was one of the soldiers that landed on D-Day as part of Operation Overlord and was very knowledgeable and also 2012 Copyright Fast Lane Travel, Inc. 11 of Participants Feedback

12 a delight to spend time with. His presence made an enormous difference in that he was able to convey to us the emotions and significance of that invasion. The weather that day was beyond nasty, but they told us it was similar to the weather on the day of the invasion, so it actually enhanced the experience for me. We loved the chateau and especially our hostess, Madame Cadene. The accommodations were very comfortable, and Madame was a gracious hostess and delightful company. If we were to change anything about the trip, it would be to spend a bit more time at the chateau. It was such an interesting place, and given what it must have cost, we would have liked to do more than just sleep there. We think the trip would be enhanced by eliminating one or both of the dinners in "old town Le Mans" and have a chef cook a dinner at the chateau. The meals we had there were less than memorable, as was the service (in the second restaurant -- can't remember the name), so it wouldn't have been any great loss to us. Regarding meals, we had some absolutely delicious food on this trip! Robin changed our lunch venue on Friday to the Hotel Arbor (sp?), and that was so good! But the best meal by far was lunch at Chateau le Prieure with Emmanuel, the "celebrity sommelier." The food and wine and venue were amazing, and Emmanuel the most sparkling and entertaining host. I got to open a bottle of champagne with a sword (it's really so much easier than it looks)! 13 Dunlop bridge. He makes a mean Cosmo! He's a real renaissance man -- we think you should definitely keep him on the itinerary. And yes, that s Derek Bell on the right who joined us in our paddock for conversation and a photo opportunity. Well, you can tell it's not the racing fanatic writing this review, can't you? Regarding the actual Le Mans race experience -- WOW! We had access to almost anywhere we wanted to be around the track. John ended up in the pits almost all by himself with the Deltawing car! We had our own spot before the official event started at the Smoking Dog hospitality tent (great folks), and then the Nissan hospitality during the official event, which was concierge level all the way. Between their "special" viewing areas and the different hospitality venues, we had some amazing vantage points from which to comfortably watch the race, as well as prompt and comfortable transportation to and fro. And it was all just so easy. We never had to wait long for anything, everyone was so polite and responsive and capable. Amazing - - Nissan pulled off a miraculous feat of management there. (We were a bit selfconscious about all the Audi logos on our jackets, but they still treated us the same as everyone else.) Robin made sure we all had a pit stop experience, with the Joda team during qualifying, and that we had a chance to meet and chat with Derek Bell after the historic race. We had terrific grandstand seats, where we sat for the start and finish, right over the start/finish line. Perfect. So, we don't know how you're going to top this trip, Peter, but we are looking forward to seeing you try! The 24 Hours of Le Mans was a spectacular trip for Ann and me. The race, pit access, the Smoking Dog hospitality staff and the folks at the Nissan hospitality venues were just terrific; as were the restaurants, wine tasting, our excursion to Normandy...we could go on and on! Madame Cadene is a wonderful hostess and Chateau de Corbuon just magnificent. 14 guides and assisting at all times to be certain that everything was as planned. Robin and Sean are wonderful, knowledgeable, and personable fellows and it was absolutely a pleasure being in their capable hands for the week! We are totally aware of how difficult it is to organize such an itinerary in a foreign country, especially France! We can only reiterate that we had a wonderful, wonderful time and would recommend a trip with you to any of our friends. Sharing the experience with Melonie, John, Jody, Joe, Milan and Milan Jr. was really a pleasure! Milan, Jr. is a charming little boy and it was a pleasure having him on the trip! Again, Peter, our Le Mans experience was as promised, an experience of a lifetime; and I hope that Ann and I have the opportunity to thank you personally on another spectacular trip! The bottom line is that the trip was greater than our expectations. Our best regards, Richard and Ann Ernst, Newport, Rhode Island 2012 Tuscany PORSCHE Fest Participants Feedback We joined many Fast Lane virgins and 5 repeaters for the Fall Treffen. We gathered in Stuttgart at the Graf Zeppelin, a fine hotel that sports a fantastic breakfast buffet. The G-Z fit the need for a central location for our forays into the Stuttgart activities. All the activities that were launched from the G-Z: Porsche Museum and Store, Ratskeller evening, Porsche Factory, Ludwigsburg Palace, Castle Beilstein, and the medieval music by Käshammer and Nagel were all grand!! Our drive to the Schlossanger Alb for lunch was spectacular!! The location, the drive up the mountain, our first experience gassing up, and the lovely host whose wife was cooking! We were blessed with a cabriolet, and if Eagle-1 was topless, we were topless!! What can we say that hasn t already been said of the Interalpen-Hotel Tyrol?? Paradise! The Tyrolean welcome dinner was lovely. And here I must speak up and compliment Thomas on his meal selections. All the food on the trip was lovely. It is a huge job to prepare menus for two weeks, and select items with broad appeal. Not to mention the selections worked in favor of regularity if I may be so obvious, and that makes everybody happy!! 15 One doesn t want to leave the room!! But leave we did for a once in a lifetime ride on the Achenseebahn steam powered train!! What fun, rain and chill, and all. Never did a cup of hot cocoa taste so good as that afternoon in the Strandhotel Entner lobby! Jim and I opted out of the drive to Lindau for a quiet day in the Austrian county side. We walked the golf course, visited with Bessie and her sisters (and melodious bells), used the spa, and went for a swim. We had to see the Alps, topped with snow from the warmth of an outdoor swimming pool! Evening cocktails in the ornately carved lounge, with flowing local wine and champagne was royal treatment. The Breakfast buffet at the Interalpen is really the most beautiful array of foods. So many things, so little time! I tried all the fixe prix menu combos and pleased with each one. It was also very kind of the kitchen to make our lunches for our drive south on Friday. And now the piece de resistance!! Tuscany!!! Casali di Bibbiano, Alberto and his family! Alberto s local knowledge and connections and the generosity of the Festmeister guaranteed over the top experiences on our side trips to Florence, The Abbey of Monte Oliveto Maggiore, Montalcino, Pienza, Siena, Bagno Vignoni, and Montepulciano. What a grand way to experience Tuscany. The warm hospitality of Alberto and his staff was heart felt and I hope we showed our appreciation. The extras : Open Air Opera ~ the voices and music were a dream!! The cooking class luckily we did not botch it badly. I have ready made both courses for family! We loved the tour of the wine cellars and vineyard. We are eagerly awaiting the arrival of our cases of wine. Alberto was so kind to grant our every wish, mine was to go horseback riding in the Tuscan countryside. It does not get much better than that! I am very grateful to the whole staff and the group for joining in on celebrating Jim s birthday! 16 It was difficult to leave Casali di B, but we have got a bag full of memories of our glorious vacation! I guess driving into Schlosshotel in Igls eased the sense of loss leaving the Casali. You were very kind to offer us your room with the balcony opening up to the Alpen view. It was a living watercolor of magnificence. Thank you, Peter, for sharing your Schnapps with us in celebrating the birth of Grace McManus!! Our expectations were to have a great time, meet new friends, eat and drink great food and wine, and drive great cars. All of our expectations were met if not exceeded. Rick and Carol Anderson, Orlando, Florida We were happy to glimpse the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. We were able to get a little gift for granddaughter #2! And see some more off road of Bavaria! It is beautiful. Our farewell dinner at Wielandshöhe was bittersweet. The meal was lovely, but we knew we would wake up soon! Jim and Mir McManus, Mobile, Alabama We had no expectations for this trip, as it was our first trip to Europe. But this trip was Peter s recommendation for our first Germany and Italy tour, and it was great! We met many wonderful people, that we now can call friends. The places that we visited & all of the accommodations where amazing. We were able to do and see so many things with the tour that we would not have been able to do on our own. Greg and Jeri Platt, Houston, Texas Peter, I want to start off by saying that it is impossible to improve on perfection! We had unbelievable expectation for this trip and our expectations were surpassed immeasurably! It was your ads that initially attracted us. But it was talking to Thomas in person at the Savannah Porsche Parade and the way we were treated on the phone that sold us on your trip. It felt like we were your only customers. You and Thomas are unbelievable hosts. As you have probably noticed, we checked excellent on all of the categories on your survey. That was not se we could just take the easy way out. We truly do believe that each one was excellent. We met great people, both our traveling companions and our hosts. We were impeccably lead by you and the fearless Eagle 1. We never, in our wildest dreams, expected to experience such an excellent trip as this one. Although it was a once in a lifetime trip, we certainly intend to duplicate or even surpass it with another Fast Lane Travel experience in the near future. It was the fact that we get to join the 150mph Club and that the itinerary we were provided with was so perfect, that we decided to go on this trip. Not only that, but the guides were outstanding! We were with Volker and Nobuko Gempt. They were always cordial, always thinking, and always anticipated our every need. The value they added to our trip simply cannot be measured. 19 We have had 3 previous experiences with Fast Lane Travel, and they were so excellent that we decided to do another! This trip once again, exceeded all of our expectations. The Carrera S that we drove was such a great car. Not only that but all of the hotels and food were so great. Spence and Dee Lane, Port Orange, Florida We did not know what to expect on this trip, and everything was great! We had freedom to either do small side trips on our own or go directly to the next stop without trying to stay with the rest of the group. The Porsche s GPS really helped. All of the food and hotels were above and beyond our exception! The extra day at the Nürburgring was planned out just perfectly for us. It was a lovely drive there, and of course Terry loved his Hot Laps. We also really appreciated Volker Gempt and his wife. They were so helpful and patient with our many questions. They were especially helpful with getting our GPS set each day. We enjoyed him so much, and we would definitely sign up for another trip again! 20 Peter, back last March when I first contacted you I was somewhat unsure if you could deliver what you promised. I would like to assure you, that you exceeded all our expectations. The structure of the trip worked out great with the non-caravan approach using GPS in each Porsche. I understand this is the first time you have used this structure for travel. The group size allowed us to get to know everyone better and make friends easier. It worked out great. Our Guide Volker and his wife Nobuko did an excellent job! They were available anytime we needed them to answer question about the area, or our schedule. You could not have had any better tour guides to represented Fast Lane Travel. Volker is a walking library on the history of the area and gave great insight to the area and the people. His demeanor is perfect, and works with his guests well. When we do another trip with Fast Lane, I hope Volker will be available as a guide. You noticed I said, when we do another trip, not if! As you promised, we met some very nice people that I am sure we will keep in contact with in the future. Several of the couples were from Florida, close to where we have our winter home. We have standing invitations to visit them when we get down. We wanted to let you know that the Nürburgring was fantastic. Our hot laps will be an experience we will never forget. Terry and I had no problems, other than cramming our little chubby bodies into the car! Too much fine food at the great Hotels you chose for us. By the way, Terry is looking for a new Porsche! I knew he would after this trip. He loved the 991. I may have to switch to an automatic transmission. The new 991 s handle and sound great. Thank you for providing such a great experience in Europe. Sorry we did not see more of each other. We enjoyed dinner at the Castle with you. You can be assured, I will let everyone I know who may be interested in a trip like this, to use Fast Lane Travel. 22 All of my expectations were met and exceeded! What made the trip was the fact that we received nightly gifts and that all meals and lodging was included. I also really appreciated the punctuality. 8 o clock means 8 o clock sharp! To us, the over all Treffen was excellent, even my wife loved it! The other expectation was to get my Porsche over 270kph. Both were met! Marni absolutely loved it and I hit 295kph! Going on this trip was a no brainer, considering the fact that I have been on four already. It is the highest level of organization that I keep coming back for. I will return for another! 23 We have been on the 2010 October Porsche Fest (Leipzig, Dresden, Prague, Pilsen, Vienna, Budapest and Munich) and the 2011Tuscany Porsche Fest (Stuttgart, Innsbruck, Tuscany Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Montalcino and Buonconvento). They have been fabulous and so much fun! In the beginning, I thought "How can we go away for so long?" since we also added-on time before we met up with the tour to go to medical meetings in Berlin. Then it was..."it can't really be over already! I don't want this to end!" These trips with Fast lane have been extraordinary for several reasons. Facilities, hotels, restaurants and itinerary are first rate! Food is exceptional, hotels have been first superb, we go places that are out of the way: Peter knows Europe so well, we have had some great experiences in some of the most stunningly beautiful places you will ever see and have never heard about. And we also see all the highlights of the major tourist areas we are visiting i.e. castles, cities, road trips, shopping, churches, etc. Everything is organized but still pretty flexible. For instance, an ad hoc tour was arranged for those interested to the WW II Castle Colditz near Leipzig where allied officers were imprisoned. The castle is also famous because it was the basis for the TV series Hogan s Heroes. For example, I also opted out of a tour in Vienna that I had already been on so that I could go to the Art museum and see a visiting exhibit there that I wanted to see (Frida Kahlo). Safety is a key component that adds to the experience and peace of mind as Peter or Thomas guide us through the cities and mountains and country roads, we are always in communication with each other with walkie talkies, as well as learning all the driving rules for each country, etc. This also applies to being able to enjoy the food and wine each evening without worrying about driving. 24 Parking is always arranged in advance when we are driving and have a lunch or hotel destination which can't be appreciated until you have tried to drive Porsche's before in Europe without this convenience. They also have special contacts and assistants who live in the areas we are staying so that there is always a native speaker to guide us in the area and provide great info. They can also help with an emergency (medical) in one case or handle contingencies like someone (ahem) leaving their passport in the safe at one hotel and getting it to them before we had to leave (next day). Peter and Thomas are very familiar with all the areas we travel through and are always letting us know their political, geographical and historic significance. They were invaluable for attending the Oktoberfest as well as having entrance to museums, etc. prearranged, having a special cocktail party and canapés arranged at the intermission of the opera in Vienna, musicians and singers for an evening in Tuscany al fresco! Also, you can't beat all of the large luggage being transferred between hotels and not being restricted to a carry-on that will fit in the Porsche not to mention your shopping bounty! Activities are detailed in advance and you ll also get a personal note refresher of the upcoming day each evening on your pillow. We have met so many great people on the tours. You receive a Who s Who of the people who will be on the tour with you with a photograph and brief bio. The trips are usually divided into two groups of 6 to 8 cars travelling together with either Peter or Thomas leading you to a common destination. We all share a love of Porsches, travel and adventure not to mention speed! Many people have been on Fast Lane Travel tours more than five or six times. Peter has a great sense of humor, is polished, experienced, speaks German fluently, and knows what people are expecting for the trip. We had never traveled with any tour prior to this experience and had always planned everything ourselves. We will be picking up my husband Peter's new Porsche in Stuttgart on October 1, so could not arrange this to work with one of the tours since Porsche shuts down production for August and the car could not be ready until then. We also picked up his last Porsche in April 4 years ago and had a great time doing that. We will be meeting up with Peter Sontag in Vienna in October for dinner when we attend a medical meeting.
