On your nswer Sheet, mark T if the statement is True and F if the statement is False. Reading s usual, school finished at 2 o'clock yesterday. Tom and his friends didn't go home right away. They stayed outside the school for half an hour and they talked about their weekend plans. When Tom went home, he saw that the front door was open. Mum came home earlier and she forgot the door open, he thought. However, as he was about to enter the house, he heard two strange men talking. There are thieves in the house, he said to himself. He was afraid. He ran to his grandparents' home, which was very near his house. His grandma opened the door and Tom told her the whole story. His grandma believed him and she called the police. When the police arrived at Tom's house, two men were putting his mum's piano on the back of a truck. Stop over there, one policeman said to the men. For a moment, the two men looked worried, but then they smiled. We aren't stealing the piano, officer, one of them said. My name is John and this is George. Mrs. Jones called us to take the piano for repairs. You can ask her. She's in the house. t this moment, Tom's mother came out of the house and she explained everything to the police. Questions 11. Tom returned home at 2 o'clock. 12. Tom's grandparents live near his house. 13. Tom's grandma went to the police. 14. John and George weren't thieves. 15. In the end, John and George were very angry with Tom. I'm sorry, Tom said to the two men. Don't worry. You did the right thing, John and George said to Tom. wards International Level 3

In the afternoons, we did different kinds of things. righton has a lot of small streets with shops. The shop I liked most was a music shop. There I bought a guitar at a very good price. nother interesting thing we did one afternoon was to visit the Toy Museum. There were 10,000 toys in the museum! It was amazing! nd of course, we visited Drusillas Park, which is about 12 miles away from righton. There is a small zoo in Drussilas Park where there are hundreds of wild animals. There is also a playground for kids, restaurants, coffee shops and gift shops. I had a lot of fun with Mark in righton. I'd like to spend my next summer holiday there, again because there are a lot of things I didn't get the chance to do. Talk soon, Peter 16. There, Peter and Mark had fun in the water every morning.
