This trip will be limited to 12 couples, two driving groups of six cars each. You will first drive to Tyrol in Austria, then Southern Tyrol in Italy, and to the Dolomites Mountains - an exciting mixture of driving scenic roads and Alpine Passes, 5-star Hotels, world class cuisine, wine and time to relax and decelerate your speed of life. All of your Hotels have outstanding locations, spas, where you ll have the time to book your massages, facials, or just spend the time for yourself at the pool, sauna or take part of the many activities the Hotels are offering. Arrive early or stay later and add on the famous Nürburgring Experience, including the Nordschleife. Drive four laps on the Nordschleife in a raceprepared car from a PORSCHE Cayman to a PORSCHE 991, and take a Race Lap with a professional driver in a 991 Turbo S or GT3. You will stay in a junior suite at the Dorint Hotel, overlooking the track from your terrace. 2 Most Fast Lane Travel Tours start and end in Stuttgart. We always recommend that you arrive a day early if possible, to have some time to relax, adjust to the time change, and enjoy the area (ask about The Early Arrivals Program.) Delta 116 flies non-stop from Atlanta (ATL) directly to Stuttgart (STR). If you arrive in Frankfurt (FRA), the best way to get to Stuttgart is to take the train directly from the Arrivals Terminal in FRA to the Stuttgarter Hauptbahnhof Station it s a little over an hour ride. The Hotel Graf Zeppelin is directly across the street. Our staff will be happy to arrange your flights and trains. Day 1: Monday, May 27 th Depart North America Depart from home for your overnight flight to Europe. Day 2: Tuesday, May 28 th Arrival in Stuttgart Upon arrival in Stuttgart, you will be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel, the Steigenberger Graf Zeppelin Hotel. On the other hand, if you arrive in Frankfurt (FRA), which maybe more convenient for guests west of the Mississippi, the best way to get to Stuttgart is to take the train directly from the Arrivals Terminal in FRA to the Stuttgarter Hauptbahnhof it s a little over an hour ride. The Hotel Graf Zeppelin is directly across the street. Our staff will be happy to arrange your flights and trains. Today is a relaxing day for you. After checking into your room, freshen up and have a walk outside to get some fresh air after your long overnight flight. Two blocks from the Hotel Graf Zeppelin, you will be on the Königsstrasse the main shopping street of the pedestrian zone in Stuttgart leading to the Schlosspark. Enjoy the many stores, Cafés, the Markthalle (market hall) with the best Deli stores you can imagine. In the early evening we will meet in one of the restaurants in the Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin for our Welcome to Germany Dinner. 3 Day 3: Wednesday, May 29 th Driver s briefing PORSCHE Museum This morning you can sleep in; have Breakfast, before we all meet in one of the conference rooms for our mandatory driver s briefing. This Morning we also will do the PORSCHE car rental paper work with the AVIS representative. Please bring your driver s license with you to the briefing. Around noon, we ll enjoy a light Lunch in the Graf Zeppelin Stüble on the ground floor of our hotel. Early afternoon we have a motor coach leaving for the PORSCHE Museum a really spectacular place. Tonight, we ll have dinner at the Stuttgarter Stäffele. You have to try their world-famous Onion Soup! After our delicious dinner at the Stuttgarter Stäffele, our motor coach will bring us back to the Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin. 4 Day 4: Thursday, May 30 th - Stuttgart Pfronten Finkenberg, Austria ( ~415 kms ) Breakfast will be served starting from 6:30 am. Please bring your luggage no later than 7:45 am to the reception, so it can be loaded into our luggage truck. At 8:00 am your Motor Coach will bring you to your PORSCHES. They are waiting for you in an underground garage five minutes from the Steigenberger Hotel Graf Zeppelin. Two AVIS representatives will meet us there to go over your PORSCHE with you and signing your rental contract. After the formalities are completed, we ll leave Stuttgart towards Bavaria, where we ll have our lunch at the Hotel Schlossanger Alp in Pfronten. Today s driving takes us on scenic country roads and the Timmelsjoch-Pass 8,117 ft. After leaving our PORSCHES with the Car-Concierge we ll check into our luxurious rooms with a breathtaking view from your balconies, at the 5-star STOCK-Resort & SPA, in Finkenberg Austria. The Stock-Resort & SPA is an awesome world of well-being in the Austrian Alps. In the evening we ll meet for pre-dinner drinks and dinner in the Hotel Stock & SPA. 5 Day 5: Friday, May 31 st Day drive to Bavaria (~295 Kms ) Start your day with a healthy breakfast. The Hotel Stock has various specialties on the huge breakfast buffet. We then get back in our PORSCHES and we ll start a scenic drive from The Zillertal (In German the word tal means valley ), Austria to Bavaria, Germany. Besides the gorgeous scenery of Bavaria, you will enjoy a wonderful light lunch at the 5-Star Hotel Alpenhof Murnau. We will be back at the Hotel Stock in the afternoon, so you still will have some time to relax at the pool. In the evening we meet for our predinner drinks before we will be spoiled again with a 5-course world class dinner experience. 6 Day 6: Saturday, June 1 st Free day in the Hotel Stock & Spa Today, you can sleep in and have a later breakfast. After all the exciting driving days, you deserved a day just by your-self and to decelerate the speed of life. Your Tour guide and the Hotel staff will be happy to give you recommendations and to help making bookings for you. If you want to stay active, check out the wide range of activities you can do at the Hotel. You can get your own Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach, book a Yoga class, or just use the Fitness Room. 7 Day 7: Sunday, June 2 nd Hotel Stock Sarntal-Valley Hotel Castel, Tyrol ( ~225 Kms ) Enjoy a fabulous breakfast. Following breakfast, check out of the Hotel Stock. Remember to make sure you take care of any extras charges you may have. After leaving the Hotel Stock in Finkenberg, we ll take the Autobahn south, direction to Sterzing located in the southern Tyrol, Italy (the Tyrol Region is located in two countries: Austria and Italy). Scenic backroads will lead us through the Sarntaler Alpen to our lunch destination Hotel Höllriegl in Sarntal, where we will enjoy the local specialties of the region. After our lunch-break in Sarntal, we continue to drive towards Bozen and Meran on country roads, before we come to the city of Meran where will reach our final destination for today, the Hotel Castel above the city of Meran. Welcome to the Hotel Castel! This is another perfect destination for you to relax, to decelerate and to get spoiled with renowned world class cuisine! 9 Day 8: Monday, June 3 rd Day Trip to Passo Falzarego Dolomites ( ~300 kms ) Enjoy a lovely breakfast at the Hotel Castel. This morning we will leave early! Great driving and amazing scenery are waiting for you! Our first destination is the Karerpass with an altitude of 5,725 ft. above sea level. After a short coffee break, we continue towards to the Pordoi Joch, which will bring us up to 7,346 ft.! We will continue driving scenic country roads to the Passo Falzarego 6,906 ft., where we will park our cars. The funicular is waiting to take us to the Refugio Lagazuoi, 9,029 ft. where we will enjoy our lunch looking at this breathtaking scenery. After lunch we ll sit on the terrace and enjoy this wonderful view. We ll take the funicular to the parking lot where our PORSCHES are ready to bring us back via the Passo di Gardena, 7,008 ft., to the Hotel Castel. Back at Hotel Castel, you may want to relax by the pool, have a well-deserved drink or simply enjoy the view of the Passeir Valley. 10 Day 9: Tuesday, June 4 th Hotel Castel Timmelsjoch Hotel ASTORIA (~160 kms) After having another substantive breakfast (no lunch planned today instead we ll enjoy canapés and drinks after arrival) it s time to say Good-Bye to the wonderful Hotel Castel. But we can look forward to an exciting drive through the Passeier Valley and then we ll cross the Timmelsjoch Pass back into Austria. In the early afternoon we ll arrive and check-into 5-Star Hotel Astoria and Spa, in Seefeld Austria. We will welcome you with drinks and Canapés before you have some time to relax in your Junior Suites. Tonight, we ll have a wonderful dinner at the hotel. 11 Day 10: Wednesday, June 5 th Astoria Spa Hotel, Seefeld, Austria Today is your second Relaxation Day, at the Hotel Astoria and Spa. Have a late breakfast and find your place at the quiet and peaceful pool area. Alternatively your tour guide will be happy to drive with you to Mils (about 40 kilometers) and visit the Swarovski Museum. Shopping is great at the Out-let, as you get Swarovski Jewelry you get nowhere else in the world! If you feel like being even more active, sign up for a Pilates Class, or join the Local Guide for a hiking tour. This is part of the Inclusive package in the Hotel Astoria and Spa! 12 Day 11: Thursday, June 6 th Hotel Astoria Stuttgart (~420 Kms) After your breakfast and your check-out, we ll board our PORSCHES driving West on the Austrian Autobahn. We stop at one of the very well-equipped rest areas on the Austrian motorway for a short lunch. The section of the Autobahn between Kempten and Ulm has no speed limit and we should have plenty of opportunity to renew our membership in the 150 mph Club, if you like. After returning our PORSCHE Cars to AVIS, we ll check into the Hotel Graf Zeppelin. Your luggage will be in your room. Tonight, we ll enjoy a wonderful dinner at THE best restaurant in Stuttgart the legendary Restaurant Christophorus at the PORSCHE Museum. 13 Day 12: Friday, June 7 th - Depart Stuttgart You ll enjoy another wonderful breakfast buffet at the Hotel Graf Zeppelin. Then, in accordance with your flight schedule you will be transferred to the Stuttgart Airport (STR) or you ll take the ICE train to Frankfurt (FRA) Airport. 14 Price of the 2019 TYROL & DOLOMITE TRIP: Price: $14,798 per person, based on two persons per room and PORSCHE. NOTE! PORSCHE base rental (including 200 kms/day for a total of 1600 kms for 8 driving days) and gasoline (at $8.75/gal.) are included as are all meals per itinerary, fabulous hotels, multi-lingual guides, walkie-talkies, and insurance (except the 2,500 deductible for any damage). You may purchase CDW insurance for 200 that reduces your personal damage assessment to 1,000 maximum. It is imperative that you inspect your 2019 PORSCHE for any damage prior to your taking possession of the car and register it with the representative of the rental company present. Additional kilometers at 1/km, which we estimate currently at 215 kms over, the first 1,600 kms are included for this trip, and traffic fines, if any, are required to be charged to your credit card or billed to you by the PORSCHE rental company AVIS. At current Euro-Dollar exchange rates, we estimate the cost of the Additional Kilometers to be approximately $250 per PORSCHE. Of course, that amount will increase if we are required to alter the routing due to traffic, weather or local events. Be sure to take a picture of the odometer of your rental PORSCHE when you take possession and again when you return it on the last driving day, so that there cannot be a dispute as to damage liability. If you wish for additional room nights in Stuttgart, we will make the reservation for you at the group rate. If you prefer a single room, there is a single supplement of $2,362. If you prefer to drive a PORSCHE alone, there is a surcharge of $2,938. As a full- service travel agency, we will gladly arrange additional PORSCHE rentals.
