18 Natural Resource Management & IPM in 2014 Natural Resource Management (0.25 FTE Gardener) Enhance and maintain habitat restoration sites - Sunset Circle, the mesa, Cypress overlook, Impound Lake Removal of invasive weeds in scrub and wetland (Cape ivy, radish, poison hemlock, etc.) and monitor for new / expanding aquatic weeds Planting, plant maintenance, seeding, watering and site specific erosion control Maintain trails Sunset Circle, the mesa, Cypress overlook, Haas Trail Cutting back brush, filling steps Environmental Education and Volunteer Stewardship Homeless camp clean up as needed Integrated Pest Management Measures to promote co-existence with wildlife Signs, waste management, outreach, enforcement for wildlife feeding Hazing acclimated animals 18
