1 PROGRAMS & schedule 2018 Discover Programs These programs are designed for first time campers (typically 9-11 year olds) to encourage them to step out of their comfort zone and explore the world of adventure and nature. Multi-activity program Campus Chief and a team of trained outdoor instructors run the program Extra supervision and care (including lady course leaders) to handle first timers A doctor with basic medical facilities is always present on the campus Accommodation in tents or dormitories, dining facilities, and fixed toilets and baths EXPLORE Programs These programs have a higher challenge level than the Discover programs. Choose 2 outdoor activities - each runs over 3 days Groups of are led by a team of 3-4 instructors Campus Chief with a team of trained outdoor instructors A doctor with basic medical facilities is always present on the campus Accommodation in tents or dormitories, dining facilities, and fixed toilets and baths Challenge Programs These programs are more adventurous and have a higher challenge level; participants may need to stretch themselves. The programs range from 6-23 days and some basic skills and fitness may be needed to enrol. Most programs are not on a fixed campus - participants are on the move, setting up camps as they progress Participants manage their own chores (cooking, cleaning, carrying and managing supplies etc.) No fixed toilets and baths Led by an Expedition Leader, it has trained wilderness first-aid responders Group may be out of communication on some days
