Day 5: Tuesday 04 April 2017 Full day rafting (B,L,D) 6.45 AM Breakfast at your Hotel. Tour>full day return Taieri rafting 0745 Depart Hotel Wild Earth Adventures Taieri Challenge full day incl Lunch, wetsuits & paddle jackets The Taieri River is 40 minutes south of Dunedin city and has its genesis in the spectacular and rugged Central Otago hills and winds its way through many small towns to the coast. Wild Earth Adventures clients join the river at Outram Glen to raft and jet boat. This trip is designed to give your team a great day out enjoying the upper Taieri River and testing their team work in our Taieri Challenge activities. You will enjoy a walk through native bush along the river from Outram Glen to the jet boat launch site. The jet boat will take you up river to our BBQ lunch site at the Rock Garden, (which can t be reached by walking). After the BBQ lunch, you will split into two teams and begin your Taieri challenge activities at stations along the river as you raft back to Outram Glen. Challenges are both land and water based. See which team can work together best to compete the timed challenges. The Taieri River section we raft is Grade Two water PM Dinner at your Hotel. From the moment the accelerator hits the floor, your adrenaline hits the roof as you power through the Shotover River and deep into the Shotover River canyons! It's an amazing ride, as the Shotover Canyon walls tower over you, and your driver skillfully whips the boat past rocky outcrops, and skims around crags and boulders. Skyline Gondola Queenstown Gondola & 3 Luge Rides Buffet Dinner Reputed to be the steepest lift in the Southern Hemisphere, the gondola carries visitors high above Queenstown to the Skyline complex located on Bob's Peak. Situated an easy five minute walk from central Queenstown, the gondola is an all weather tourist attraction in its own right.
