Although it is one of the most photographed harbours in the world, nothing can compare to seeing the spectacular Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House with your own eyes. Take a stroll along Circular Quay and soak up the atmosphere or catch a ferry to Cockatoo Island or Watson s Bay and enjoy the fresh sea air and sunny weather. Circular Quay also boasts some of Sydney s best restaurants. Right in the heart of the city, the Queen Victoria Building is another must-see tourist attraction. Dating back to the 1890 s, the grand and beautiful building is now Sydney s premier shopping destination. 2 ITINERARY DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN SYDNEY On arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to your hotel with the rest of the day at leisure DAY 2: SYDNEY CRUISE At leisure until you board your Magistic Cruise vessel at Circular Quay for a lunch cruise of Sydney Harbour at 12:45pm. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the shops and restaurants at the Quay DAY 3: Your tour vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a half day Essential Sydney tour. Start in the historic Rocks precinct to see the birth place of Sydney and explore the convict built cottages, pubs and the first church in Australia. Continue around Circular Quay, the Opera House and pass Macquarie Street, Hyde Park Barracks and St Mary's Cathedral into magnificent Botanical Gardens. Take a short walk to view Mrs. Macquarie's chair and excellent harbour views to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Rejoining the vehicle, continue through Woolloomooloo, Kings Cross and into Rushcutters Bay. Enjoy lunch at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia, Australia's premier yacht club. After lunch, drive through Darling Point and see some of Sydney's most sought after addresses. Pass by Double Bay, Rose Bay, Vaucluse and Watsons Bay before traversing along the coastline to Sydney's most famous beach, Bondi Beach. Soak up the atmosphere of this beachside mecca and stroll down the esplanade with the locals. Return to the city via Oxford Street Paddington and admire this boutique shopping precinct and the charming Georgian and Victorian architecture of the homes. 3 DAY 4: SYDNEY TO HUNTER VALLEY An AEA Luxury Tours vehicle will pick you up from your hotel to commence a two day Hunter Valley Overnight tour. Head out of the city and reach the morning tea stop, a unique wildlife park where you'll meet native Australian animals. After leaving the Park travel directly via the Freeway into the Hunter Valley to enjoy exclusive wine and cheese pairing at a boutique winery with stunning views. Continue to the next winery visit then onto your lunch venue, where a gourmet tasting experience of food and wine matching awaits. After lunch you will be taken to your overnight accommodation in the Hunter Valley with the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight: Hunter Valley Resort DAY 5: HUNTER VALLEY This morning is at leisure to enjoy the surrounding Hunter Valley region. You may wish to enjoy a scenic hot air balloon ride, or hop on a horse and carriage for a ride around the vineyards (own expense). At approximately 1.30pm pm you will be picked up from your hotel to enjoy a selection of experiences consisting of - a Wine Theatre for an educational video on wine production, additional wine tasting at a local cellar door, additional cheese tasting options or a beer tasting paddle (own expense). Depart the Hunter Valley and return to Sydney. Tour concludes at approximately 5.00pm, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.
