2 Activity Description Outputs Targeted Media Coverage Media Relations Plan: Content Feature Articles: The delivery of feature articles aimed at key trade and consumer press, including in local, national and international markets. Family Fun in Tyrone and Explore the unspoilt landscape of Tyrone and Explore a plethora of ancient monuments in Tyrone and Unravel the famous story of Irish emigration at the Ulster American Folk Park Experience the ultimate adrenalin rush in Tyrone and Mountain biking in Tyrone and Ultimate golf experience in Tyrone and Experience in Equestrian in Tyrone and Fishing in Tyrone and Key landmarks of Tyrone and The Flavours of Tyrone and 8 feature articles 8 feature articles to deliver 12 pieces of positive print and online coverage News Stories: The delivery of news stories and articles to support tourism providers. They will focus on the promotion of key activities and business achievements of tourism providers. Potential news stories include: Expansion of Campsie Karting Redevelopment at Corick House Hotel & Spa Expansion of Blessingbourne Estate Launch of Adventure Tours NI Anniversary of Newtownstewart Golf Course 6 news stories with photocalls 6 news stories to deliver 20 pieces of positive print, broadcast and online coverage
3 Media Familiarisation Visits: The co-ordination of a series of media familiarisation visits for key national and international travel writers to sample a variety of experiences in Tyrone and. Trips will be set-up specific to each targeted media outlet and follow the agenda of persuading new and repeat visitors to visit the region. *These potential news stories have been gleaned from liaising directly with providers. Potential themes for media visits include: Weekend break at the Derry Farm Cottages to include cycle hire from Claudy Cycles, horse riding at Ash Lee Riding School, trip to Ulster American Foll Park and paintballing/crazy golf at Campsie Karting. Weekend break at the Glenavon House Hotel to include visit to An Creagan, show in the Burnavon Theatre, visit Beaghmore Stone Circles, Killeter Forest etc. Weekend break at Blessingbourne Estate to include mountainbiking at Blessingbourne bike trail and Davagh Forest. 4 media familiarisation visits 4 media familiarisation visits to deliver 12 pieces of positive print, broadcast and online coverage Weekend break at Silverbirch Hotel with trips to Hunter West Shooting School, Oakfire Adventure and Far & Wild Luxury weekend break at Corick House Hotel & Spa with visit to Sloughan Glen Waterfall and National Trust properties at Argory / Springhill / Wellbrook.
4 Weekend break at Baronscourt Estate to enjoy fishing and shooting and a walking tour with Martin McGuigan. Weekend break at Beech Hill Country House Hotel to include golfing at Newtownstewart Golf Club, Strabane Golf Club and Faughan Valley Golf Club. Weekend break at Fir Tree to include fishing at Baronscourt Estate, Angling school at Dungannon Park and fishing on the River Faughan Competitions: The strategic placement of a series of competitions that will bring to life the range of visitor attractions within Tyrone and. Competitions will be set-up specific to each targeted title. *These packages have been developed based on the secured providers at this point. 6 Social Media Plan: Facebook & Twitter Pages The co-ordination of an interactive social media campaign to on behalf of Tyone and tourism offering. Drip-feed video, photography, news information, competitions etc, suited to each social media outlet, that would help showcase Tyone and Deliver posts to include video, photography, news information, competitions etc, suited to each social media platform. Co-ordinate social media outlets 20 x posts per month on Facebook 20 x posts per month on Twitter Engaging 4 x specialist bloggers Deliver 1,000 likes for official Facebook page Deliver 2,500 total page likes throughout campaign Deliver 1,000 followers for official Twitter page Stakeholder Engagement Plan: PR Stakeholder Meeting & Steering Group The development of a PR Steering Group that will meet on a bi-monthly basis to provide accountability for the delivery of the PR Plan. The successful formation of working relationships with key stakeholders to gain their interest and support in the delivery of the programme. ASG will work with Tourism officers to identify key stakeholders and co-ordinate a PR stakeholder meeting. Interested parties will be invited to form a PR Steering Group to oversee and inform the delivery of the PR Plan (meet on a bi-monthly basis). We will also provide PR clinics at each meeting to provide rural stakeholders with PR support. Identify key stakeholders PR Stakeholder Meeting.
