3 4 13 SHOOTING REPORT There has been some interest shown by shooters who would like to be able to practise on Sunday mornings. Time frame suggested would be early morning to lunchtime. If this is something you would be interested in could you let Hans know and we may be able to arrange this. There were 14 Teutonia members and shooters who made the 10 hour trip to Illawarra. The hotel used was modernised and in good order and plenty of good food was enjoyed by all. And to top that off, Alex gave a good performance on Saturday night at the Karaoke, even being asked to perform a second time! Enough of the fun side, now a report on the shooting. We had a great time and brought a few medals back as well. In B Grade Ron came 2 nd and 1 st Senior. In C Grade Alex 1 st and 1 st Junior, as well as upgraded to B Grade. In E Grade Julian made 1 st and 1 st Junior also with an upgrade to D Grade and Dad Adrian 3 rd. Hans came 2 nd in Benchrest 2. Alex and Ron came 1 st in Team B, Julian and Adrian 1 st in E Team, Juergen and Will 2 nd in Benchrest 1 Team with Hans and Adolf 1 st in Benchrest 2 Team, and Alex and Matthew 1 st in Junior Team. Well done to all shooters and especially to Julian with his nearly perfect 10 and winning the Junior Championship Shield. A. The next big upcoming event will be the Victorian Championships in our Teutonia Club on Saturday 8 th and Sunday 9 th November. There is a possibility, at the October dance, we may hold a fun shoot for Oktoberfest Champion if there is enough interest and people are willing to shoot. 6 10 7 LADIES GROUP REPORT We had a fantastic Father s Day at the club, with the Father s table being a great success. Hopefully we can hold this function again next year. On the last Friday of the month we have a meat raffle, which is sponsored by Walma s Continental Butcher s in High Street, Bayswater. The voucher is worth $50.00, even if you don t win the raffle, the shop has some fabulous smallgoods and the meat is just the best.
