Completion September 2012 Existing exhibition removed and redeveloped to also include fresh water aquariums to the marine centre. One of the new features to the marine centre is an introductory 65 interactive touch display educating users about Victoria s Marine and Fresh Waterways. 9 Melbourne Aquarium Antarctic Exhibit - Artificial Ice Core Melbourne Aquarium Artificial Ice Core Drilling Completion 2010 Production of an artificial ice core drilling taken from Antarctica. This drilling made of acrylic educates visitors about the importance of studying the history of our earth through ice core samples. Design, project management and installation by Borutta 3D Services for Mothers Art Productions.

10 Melbourne Aquarium Antarctic Exhibit - Ice Map Melbourne Aquarium Antarctic Ice Map Completion 2010 Production of an interactive map of Antarctica. This map has the actual land mass of Antarctica as one large Ice shelf. A refrigeration unit below the map keeps a bath of water frozen within the perimeters of the map of Antarctica.
