9 8.2 8 km lanes 2 Supervision Consultant KEO mainline carriageway up to 4 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor CCC/Teyseer Contracting JV Q substantial completion 837m QAR cost (at contract award) Doha Extending for 8 kilometres from Hamad International Airport to the Mesaimeer Interchange flyover (commonly known as Woqod Flyover), the F Ring Road was one of the first greenfield projects constructed on the Expressway Programme. The expressway provides road users with four lanes in each direction, and its two interchanges intersect with Al Matar Street and Najma Street, providing key connections to the G Ring Road, Al Wakra and Barwa Village. The F Ring Road forms the first section of the Al Bustan Corridor, which will provide a free-flowing 25.5km connection from Hamad International Airport to Landmark Mall and Al Shamal Road. The completed upgrade provides road users with four lanes in each direction, and introduces 4 multi-level interchanges at key intersections, including Al Bustan Street, Mesaimeer Road, Wholesale Market Street, Umm Al Seneem Street and Ain Khalid Street. 13 5.3 km 8 lanes 3 Supervision Consultant CDM Smith mainline carriageway up to 4 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor Hyundai Engineering and Construction Lusail Q substantial completion 3.6b QAR cost (at contract award) Doha Starting near Diplomatic Street in West Bay, the Lusail Expressway establishes an efficient and express 5 kilometre link between Doha s central business hub and two of its most significant residential and commercial districts, The Pearl and Lusail. The project provides road users with four lanes in each direction, and includes the construction of three complex multi-level interchanges comprised of an array of flyovers and tunnels, and two additional bridges, which cross over the West Bay Lagoon canals. The project features the newest addition to Doha s iconic skyline, the 5/6 Arches, which stand more than 100 metres tall over one of the project s key interchanges. Lusail Expressway 13

Atkins mainline carriageway up to 4 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor CCC/Teyseer JV Lusail Q b QAR «Dukhan substantial completion cost (at contract award) Doha The Dukhan Highway Central project has created a strategic 16 kilometre link from the west of Doha to the regional town of Al Sheehaniya, with new free-flowing connections to key public venues, including the Mall of Qatar, Al Rufaa Street (Celebration Road) and the under-construction 2022 Al Rayyan FIFA World Cup Stadium. The upgraded highway removes all existing roundabouts and doubles the vehicle capacity of the previous road from 4000 vehicles per hour to 8000 vehicles per hour in each direction. The project also introduced three new multi-level interchanges, including the four-level Al Jahhaniya Interchange, which provides seamless, free-flowing movement in all directions between Al Rufaa Street, Military Road and the Dukhan Highway. 17 9.9 km mainline carriageway 8 lanes up to 4 lanes in each direction 5 interchanges Supervision Consultant Parsons Contractor QDSBG Group Lusail Q b QAR Qatar Foundation Doha substantial completion cost (at contract award) The Dukhan Highway East project will create a unique and stately urban avenue in Doha s west that relieves current traffic congestion and satisfies the future needs of some of Qatar s most prominent public amenities, including Education City, Qatar National Convention Centre and Sidra Medical Research Centre. The project is divided into two main carriageways which will significantly enhance three major streets in Doha s west, including Al Luqta Street, Huwar Street and Al Gharrafa Street. Aside from forming a crucial component of the Al Rayyan-Dukhan Corridor, the Dukhan Highway East project will be immaculately beautified as part of the Khalifa Avenue master plan, with extensive landscaping, street furniture and 19 kilometres of dedicated pathways for pedestrians, cyclists and local wildlife. 18 East Industrial Street Upgrade

19 2.8 km lanes 2 mainline carriageway 6 up to 3 lanes in each direction interchanges Supervision Consultant Parsons Contractor Sinohydro Doha Q substantial completion 226m QAR cost (at contract award) Phase one of the East Industrial Street Upgrade involved the strategic upgrade of a three kilometre section of East Industrial Street between Salwa Road and Industrial Area Road (formerly known as Al Muntazah Street). The project s 2.8 kilometre main carriageway provides a free-flowing connection for road users travelling between the Industrial Area, Labour City, Barwa Commercial Avenue and Salwa Road, with three lanes in each direction and two multi-level interchanges. Ashghal has also upgraded the surrounding service road network, creating new and improved access points to residential and commercial stakeholders along East Industrial Street. The project will form a crucial component of the Furousiya Corridor, which is expected to be complete post East Industrial Street Upgrade 19 17

21 2.8 km 8 lanes 3 Supervision Consultant KEO mainline carriageway up to 4 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor Sixco - Boom JV Q substantial completion 1b QAR cost (at contract award) Qatar Foundation Doha Running adjacent to public landmarks such as Al Rayyan Fort and Education City, the mainline carriageway of phase one of the Al Rayyan Road Upgrade project extends for approximately 2.8 kilometres from west of Khalid bin Abdullah Al Attiyah Roundabout (New Al Rayyan Roundabout) to the east of Bani Hajer Roundabout. The project, which forms part of the overall 13.5 kilometre Al Rayyan Road Upgrade project, provides road users with up to 4 lanes in each direction and introduces three multi-level interchanges at key local roads in the west of Doha, including Al Shafi Street, Al Qalaa Street and Al Wajbah Street. As part of the new expressway s delivery, The Public Works Authority has constructed infrastructure for water, electricity and telecommunications cabling and a 5 kilometre storm-water drainage network and attenuation tanks to mitigate the risk of flooding. It will also provide upgraded service roads to serve businesses and residential areas as well as 31 kilometres of predestrian and cycle paths. The project includes the construction of six multi-level interchanges, which will enhance vehicle movement between Al Rayyan Road and other key urban thoroughfares, including Al Bustan Street, 22 February Street, Huwar Street and Furousiya Street. 25 Lusail 22 km 10 lanes 7 Supervision Consultant ch2m (Halcrow) mainline carriageway up to 5 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor J&P China Harbour Doha Q b QAR substantial completion cost (at contract award) The G Ring Road is a 10 lane expressway which extends for 22 kilometres from Hamad International Airport to the Orbital Highway, significantly enhancing connectivity and access points between key residential and business areas to the south of Doha, such as the Industrial Area, Logistics Village, Barwa City and Barwa Village. The expressway forms part of the Public Works Authority s external highway network and is interlinked with other major highways, including the New Orbital Highway and the southern section of the Doha Express Highway (Al Wakra Bypass). The road is designed to reduce existing travel times between Hamad International Airport and key centres across Qatar, including the Industrial Area, Salwa Road and Dukhan Highway, by more than 50%. The G Ring Road will also deliver an extensive cycle path and pedestrian network that will provide an environmentally friendly and healthy alternative for residents of Qatar. G Ring Road 25

26 Rawdat Al Khail Street Extension

27 Doha 9.2 km 8 lanes 6 Supervision Consultant Parsons mainline carriageway up to 4 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor Al Jaber Q b QAR substantial completion cost (at contract award) The 9.2 kilometre Rawdat Al Khail Street Extension project has created a free-flowing route between the Industrial Area and Al Thumama, through the upgrade and enhancement of 14.8 kilometres of Industrial Area Road, East Industrial Street and F Ring Road. The completion of the project has replaced some of Doha s most congested roundabouts with 6 new multi-level interchanges on Industrial Area Road, Wholesale Market Street and the F Ring Road. The Rawdat Al Khail Street Extension project is designed to serve residential and commercial stakeholders in the Umm Al Seneem, Mesaimeer and Industrial Areas, and will enhance connectivity and ease of access to Barwa Commercial Avenue, Labour City, Asian Town and Mesaimeer Cemetery. 28 Southern Part of the Doha Express Highway

29 Doha 11 km 10 lanes 5 Supervision Consultant ch2m (Halcrow) mainline carriageway up to 5 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor Larsen & Taubro Q b QAR substantial completion cost (at contract award) The Southern Part of the Doha Express Highway project, which is also known as the Wakra Bypass, creates an 11 kilometre connection between the G Ring Road and Mesaieed Road and provides road users with five lanes in each direction, more than doubling the existing traffic capacity of the former alternative, Al Wakra Main Road. The greenfield highway project is positioned between two of Qatar s major regional cities, Al Wakra and Al Wukair, and with five multi-level interchanges, it creates multiple new access points to the rapidly developing residential compounds in the area. In the future, the southern section of the Doha Express Highway will be connected to 22 February Street and Al Shamal Road, providing a crucial north-south highway link that extends from the south of Al Wakra to Al Shamal. 30 Al Sheehaniya - Leatooriya - Lijmiliya Road

31 31 4 km lanes 9 Supervision Consultant Egis mainline carriageway 2 lanes in each direction roundabouts Contractor Qatar Building Company Q m QAR substantial completion cost (at contract award) Located in central Qatar, the Al Sheehaniya-Leatooriya-Lijmiliya Expressway extends for 31 kilometres from the Dukhan Highway and Al Sheehaniya Camel Race Track to J iya Village. The expressway doubles the traffic capacity of the existing roadway and enables more efficient movement of goods and materials between urban and rural Qatar. The project also significantly enhances safety for road users, pedestrians and local wildlife, with the introduction of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), pedestrian crossings (including a pedestrian footbridge near Al Doosari Zoo) and several animal crossings underneath the main carriageway. Doha» The previous road has also been converted into a dedicated 31 kilometre cycle path, providing residents of Qatar with a safe, natural route to use their bicycles. 33 Lusail km lanes 21 Supervision Consultant AECOM mainline carriageway up to 7 lanes in each direction interchanges Contractor J&P QDVC-Bin Omran Leighton-Al Jaber Daewoo Doha Q b QAR substantial completion cost (at contract award) At 195 kilometres, the New Orbital Highway is the longest highway constructed on the Expressway Programme. The expansive ring road will significantly enhance connectivity and travel efficiency across the State of Qatar by reducing the existing travel time between Mesaieed and Al Khor by more than one hour while simultaneously enhancing road links to other key business and residential hubs, such as the Industrial Area, Salwa Road, Al Rayyan and Lusail. The Orbital Highway will introduce 21 new multi-level interchanges, providing road users with free-flowing and efficient connections to other major highways, such as Al Shamal Road, Dukhan Highway, Salwa Road, the G Ring Road and Mesaieed Road. The expressway will provide road users with up to seven lanes in each direction, more than tripling the vehicle capacity of the former truck route. As part of the seven lane configuration, the project will provide two separated and dedicated truck lanes, providing a safer driving experience and reducing the risk of serious vehicle collisions. The mega-highway project is longer than the M25 in England and wider than the Berliner Ring in Germany, making it truly a world-class road project. Orbital Road & Truck Route 33
