3 A MESSAGE FROM THE CEO With spring comes change The Western Development Museum is grateful for the commitment demonstrated by all its Board members, staff and volunteers. This spring we said a fond farewell to two long-time staff members, Warren Clubb, Research and Library Coordinator at the Curatorial Centre and Jackie Hall, Programs/Education Officer at the WDM Moose Jaw. We are sad to see them go, but glad for the freedom they will soon enjoy as they pursue their many interests. Warren began working at the WDM in February He has left his indelible mark on the WDM in a variety of roles, from research and exhibit curation, to his most recent achievements as the Travelling Exhibits Coordinator. The George Shepherd Library has become more accessible to staff, volunteers and the public under Warren s stewardship. He was also a wonderful spokesperson for the WDM during the many media interviews he gave over the years. Jackie joined the WDM in April She was instrumental in the success of the Thunder Creek Model Train Show and in bringing Brickspo, the annual Lego show, to the WDM Moose Jaw. Jackie s work with the Moose Jaw Regional Youth Heritage Fair as the Chair and annual event organizer has ensured that this program not only continued, but has thrived. We thank Warren and Jackie for their dedication and hard work. They have been instrumental in making the Museum the success that it is today. Joan Champ, CEO
