Optional Guided Tours GUIDED COACH TOUR OF BERLIN FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 2-6PM Our Guided Coach Tour will take you through East and West Berlin passing by the Brandenburg Gates, Reichstag, Checkpoint Charlie, Gendarmenmarkt, Museum Island, the Jewish Quarter, the philharmonic Hall, Tiergaten area, the Victory Column and stopping at Charleottenburg Palace for a guided tour. The Palace was built in 1695 as a summer residence for Queen Sophie Charlotte, the wife of King Friedrich 1, and has splendid baroque gardens which are great for summer walking and a variety of buildings in the grounds which house a collection of 18th century French art and a collection of works by Van Gogh, Klee, Cezanne and Picasso. 3 DAY TRIP TO POTSDAM Situated on the banks of the beautiful Havel river, less than one hour from Berlin, Postdam was the home of Prussian Kings and German Kaisers until 1918 and is the largest world heritage site in Germany. Our tour will include a visit to the Sanssouci Park and its many palaces along with lunch and some free time to explore Potsdams Dutch Quarter. Opened in 2006 the Ritz Carlton has 303 guest rooms each tastefully appointed with the most luxurious quality materials, offering the highest comfort, amenities of very distinctive personal touches as well as the latest technical standards. Breakfast is served from 6.30am to 10.30am in Brasserie Desbrosses. Breakfast extended to 11am on Saturday & Sunday. CONFERENCE PACKAGE The conference package cost is 595pp to include 3 nights in Superior Double/Twin room in 5* Ritz Cartlon Berlin, Drinks reception at hotel on 17th September for one hour, Gala dinner on 19th September & event management services throughout the trip. Conference package price does not include cost of flights or breakfast. The conference secretariat must receive notification of all cancellations in writing or by to Marketing Initiatives Limited. All bookings received are subject to a cancellation fee of 35% of the deposit up to 30/05/2015. No refunds on the total package price will be given after 31/07/2015. We recommend that each delegate obtains travel insurance as soon as registration is made. The organisers reserve the right to alter any of the arrangements for this conference including cancellation of the event, should unforeseen circumstances require such action. The organisers accept no responsibility for resulting costs and inconvenience to delegates who are advised to have travel insurance in place. By registering for the DSBA Annual Conference, delegates give permission for their contact details to be used for official purposes, and to be included in the list of participants.
