Oman Air also came joint second in the Best First Class Fortified and Sweet Wine category with its Dr Loosen Riesling Beerenauslese, For the second year running, Oman Air won World s Best Business Class Airline Seat at the Skytrax 2012 World Airline Awards. Skytrax 2012 World Airline Awards: Oman Air was also nominated in a number of other categories and came second in the Best Airline Staff Service in Middle East and Best First Class Catering categories and third in the World s Best Business Class category. Oman Air achieved top ten places in the Best First Class Airline Seat, Best Business Class Airline Lounge, Best Business Class Onboard Catering, Best Economy Class Onboard Catering and Best Airline in the Middle East categories of the awards in Skytrax 2012 World Airline Awards. In May 2012, Oman Air received the Business Destinations Travel Awards Best Business Class Airline, Middle East Award. In February 2012, Oman Air won the Best First Class Female Amenity Bag and the Best Business Class Unisex Amenity Bag categories of the TravelPlus Airline Amenity Bag Awards and also received Bronze in the Best First Class Male Amenity Bag category. Oman Air was named Best Economy Class Airline Middle East at the World Travel Awards 2013, held in Dubai. Skytrax World Airport Awards 2013: Oman Air s staff at Muscat International Airport were recognised when the airport was ranked second in the Best Airport Staff Middle East category of the awards. In May 2013, Oman Air was named Best Business Class Airline, Middle East for the third year running in the Business Destinations Travel Awards.
