8 Sabratha Platform Deck Installation Main Features The deck installation was performed by the crane vessel Saipem 7000, in 3 main lift from 29th October to 11th November 2004 as follows: Integrated deck, 12,100 T weight in lifting condition. This was the world record as single offshore lift Living Quarter, 1,700T weight, accommodation for 117 people Flare, 700T weight & 117m length Other minor lifts The process plant is designed to treat: 25 MlnSm3/d of dry Gas 5,100 m3/d of condensate 8

9 Sabratha Platform Living Quarter Installation The Living Quarter installation was performed by the crane vessel Saipem 7000 early November 2004 during the Deck installation campaign Living Quarter Installation Early November 2004 The living Quarter, 1,700T weight is capable to accommodate 117 people Jacket Installation 3 rd -19 th October 04 9

12 Subsea System Subsea X-mas Trees Each of the 11 subsea Xmas Tree has the following main features: Pressure Rating 5000 psi Weight 38 Ton Dimensions 4.5m L x4.5m W x5m H Actuated valves controlled from the Platform through a control umbilical Presently 8 subsea wells have been completed (5 on Endline & 3 on Midline) 12

13 Subsea System Protective Structure Manifold (PSM) 11 Subsea wells divided in two clusters (5+6) The protection is granted by two PSM with production facilities Endline and Midline PSMs installed on September 2004 PSMs post installation test and PGB-PSM spools installation October December 2004 The main features of each PSM are: 6 slots 830 T, 65m L x18.5m W x10m H 1 production manifold + 1 test manifold with actuated valves controlled from the Platform 13

14 Sealines Sealines system Gathering system from the subsea wells to Sabratha Platform: 22 production line + 8 test line - 24 Km long cladded with corrosion resistant alloy. Design Pressure 211 bar 4 service line - 24 Km long Design Pressure 345 bar Sealine installation campaign 18 th May th June 2005 Sealine ready for Gas in 16June 2005 Export system from Sabratha Platform to Mellitah: 36 gas sealine Km long Design pressure 88 bar 10 condensate sealine Km long. 19 Mellitah Plant Condensate Stabilization 2 condensate stabilization trains with a total process capacity of 39,000 bbls/day 19

20 Mellitah Plant Gas Treatment 3 gas treatment trains with a design capacity to process and produce 6.6 MMscm/day of gas each The process consists of gas sweetening, sulphur removal, gas dehydration for water removal and hydrocarbon dew point control with NGL extraction (6,400 bbl/day) 20

21 Mellitah Plant Sulphur Recovery 3 sulphur recovery trains are installed The total recovery capacity is 528 Ton/day of sulphur Each train consists of MDEA absorber, MDEA regenerator, thermal reactor and sulphur condenser pit 21

22 Mellitah Plant Sulphur Storage 2 tanks for liquid sulphur storage, solidification unit and solid sulphur storage handling section The sulphur is shipped through a belt conveyor and a ship loader located on the jetty 22

23 Mellitah Plant Steam Boilers 4 HP steam boilers with a capacity of 330 Ton/h of steam each Steam is utilized for power generation and process purposes 3 steam turbine with a power generation capacity of 25 MW each 23

24 Mellitah Plant Condensate Storage 3 tanks with a capacity of 45,000 m 3 each The condensate coming from the treatment train is stored and then sent to the fiscal metering and export system 24
