Emergency road works cannot be forecast.» New Entry Estimate of Potential Disruption: # Update *** major ** medium * minor ROAD CLOSURES Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993 Extension to the Temporary Closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Traffic Section has approved a further extension of the temporary closure of Tivoli Terrace South, Dún Laoghaire from its junction with York Road to its junction with Tivoli Terrace East from: Friday, 16 th December 2016 to Saturday, 11 th February 2017 inclusive, in order to facilitate the rehabilitation of a water main for Irish Water in addition to road restoration and associated works as part of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council s Road Restoration Programme The Road Closure will remain in place overnight and Local Access will be maintained at all times to Tivoli Terrace South via the Tivoli Terrace East. 2 ROADWORKS / LANE RESTRICTIONS» New Entry:» R118 / Wyattville Dual Carriageway, Cherrywood *** The delivery of the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone will involve significant construction works over the next 18 months in the Cherrywood area. The first phase of infrastructure provision for the Cherrywood Strategic Development Zone will be delivered by JCL the joint venture between John Cradock Ltd. /Jons Civil Engineering. Major road works are expected to begin on the Wyattville Dual Carriageway between M50 junction 16 and the N11 at Cherrywood, on 9 th February 2017 for the remainder of the year. The primary focus of this phase of the infrastructure works is the upgrade of the Wyattville Roundabout to a signalised junction, and upgrade of Tullyvale Road, involving road construction, road drainage, public lighting, provision of utilities, etc. Traffic restrictions will be in place for the duration and delays can be expected. It is intended to retain two lanes of traffic inbound and outbound. Please note that Pay and Display parking on Tullyvale Road will cease permanently from 1 st February 2017, however, Pay and Display parking is available adjacent to the Brides Glen Luas stop, on Cherrywood Avenue Extension.» Annaville Avenue, Blackrock ** Footpath and road restoration works are due to commence on Annaville Avenue during the week commencing Monday, 6 th February 2017 for duration of three weeks between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs.» Pearse Villas, Sallynoggin ** Snagging works will be undertaken at Pearse Villas during the week commencing Monday, 6 th February 2017 for duration of 1 week between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. An approved Traffic Management Plan will be in operation for the duration of the works.» Main Street, Dundrum Village ** Work will take place on Main Street Dundrum, near the junction with Kilmacud Road Upper, to facilitate a utility connection, from Tuesday 7 th February until Friday 10 th February 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hours inclusive. The traffic signals will be switched out on the junction, and a Stop/Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. Page 2 of 6

3 » Sycamore Road, Mount Merrion * Trial Holes and GPR investigation works will commence on Monday, 6 th February until Friday, 17 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.» Gledswood Avenue, Clonskeagh * Kerb and footpath repairs will commence on Monday, 6 th February 2017 until Friday, 10 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.» Thomond - off Corbawn Lane, Shankill * Road patching repair works will commence on Monday, 6th February 2017 until Friday, 17 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs.» Avoca Avenue (GPR Survey)* Topographical and level surveys will take place from Monday, 6 th February 2017 until Friday, 10 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. # Update: # N11 / Johnstown Road Junction *** The civil works for the project are completed. Final resurfacing to take place in March 2017 with works being done at night. # N11 Stillorgan Road, Stillorgan ** VMS Installation [variable message signs] - near Commons Road - 2 sides of road, Stillorgan Grove outbound, past Galloping Green inbound, past Stillorgan Park Road inbound, Frascati Road inbound (near Sweetman s Avenue) Works will take place to create foundations and install VMS at various locations from Monday, 6 th February 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. for 2 weeks. 4 # Marlay Court / Broadford Road, Ballinteer ** Footpath and tactile pavement renewal works will take place on Monday, 6 th February 2017 until Friday, 10 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 17:00 hrs. # Shanganagh Road, Shankill ** (from Bloomfield Court Texaco Station towards Beechfield Manor) Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 17 th February 2017 between 10:00 and 16:00 hrs. A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation. # Lynnwood, Ballinteer * Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 10 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. # Beaumont Drive, Churchtown * Footpath restoration works will continue until Friday, 10 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. # Sloperton, Monkstown * Road patching repair works will continue until Friday, 10 th February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. 5 Mount Anville Road, Goatstown ** Works will begin on Mount Anville Road to facilitate the installation of a water main between Goatstown Road junction and Mount Anville Park, on Monday 30 th January 2017 for a period of two months. Lane restrictions may be in place between the hours of 10:00 and 16:00 hours. Pottery Road ** Construction of a new wall on the east side of Pottery Road opposite the entrance to Dún Laoghaire Industrial Estate (opposite Lidl) will commence on Thursday, 26 th January 2017 and continue until the end of February 2017 between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs. Whitehall Road, Churchtown ** Works will resume on Whitehall Road near Good Shepherd National School, to complete permanent reinstatement of footpath and cycle track, until Friday 10 th February A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation between 10:00 and 16:00 hours. Public Lighting Lantern and Bracket Upgrade Works ** Public lighting lantern and bracket upgrade works will take place on: 1. Drummartin Link Road 2. Kilmacud Road Upper 3. Goatstown Road 4. Rock Road 5. Enniskerry Road 6. Frascati Road These works will continue until Friday, 31 st March A Stop / Go Traffic Management Plan will be in operation as required. Desmond Avenue, Dún Laoghaire * Public realm improvement works will continue until Friday, 24 th February 2017 between 09:00 and 17:00 hrs. There will be parking and access restrictions on Desmond Avenue during this period. Page 5 of 6

6 St. Patrick s Park, Stepaside * Work will take place to reconstruct one of the cul-de-sac roads outside No. 1-6 St. Patrick s Park, Stepaside from Monday, 9 th January 2017 for a period of 5-6 weeks. Vehicular access to the cul-de-sac will be restricted throughout the duration of the works. Irish Water * Irish Water meter installation works will continue.
