Devlin and seconded by Councillor P. Stewart that the minutes of the Dun Laoghaire Planning & Enterprise and Transportation & Water Services Area Committee meeting held on 7 th September, 2015 be CONFIRMED and ADOPTED PLANNING & ENTERPRISE BUSINESS DLP/301/15 Questions It was proposed by Councillor J. Bailey and seconded by Councillor C. Devlin and resolved:-

2 That pursuant to Standing Order No. 13 (c) question numbers 2 & 3 be ADOPTED and APPROVED. DLP/302/15 Councillor K. Gill - Planning Application for the Deerhunter Site DLP/303/15 Councillor M. Halpin - Proposed sale of 0.47HA to the back of the West Pier DLP/304/15 Major Planning Applications DLP/305/15 Ministerial / Departmental Correspondence DLP/306/15 Other Correspondence DLP/307/15 Fence repaired at rubbish cleared at the former Deerhunter Site It was proposed by Councillor C. Devlin and seconded by Councillor J. Cuffe That the Chief Executive once again write to the owner/receiver of the former Deerhunter site and request that the fence is repaired and that the rubbish is cleared from the site as soon as possible. DLP/308/15 Venue for Dun Laoghaire Area Committee meetings An Cathaoirleach, Councillor B. Ward raised the issue of re-locating the Dun Laoghaire Area Committee Meetings away from the Council Chamber. Following a discussion among the Members regarding the benefits and disadvantages of a number of suggested alternative rooms in County Hall, it was agreed that the Meetings should remain in the Council Chamber.

Merrigan and resolved:- That pursuant to Standing Order No. 13 (c) question numbers 8 to 16 be ADOPTED and APPROVED. DLP/310/15 Councillor M. Baker - Renewal of Double Yellow Lines at Entrance to Linden Grove off Grove Avenue DLP/311/15 Councillor C. Devlin - Dishing of Footpath at corner of Flower Grove DLP/312/15 Councillor M. Hanafin - "Children at Play" sign in Bellevue Park DLP/313/15 Councillor C. Smyth - Ecar charge points in the DLR LexIcon DLP/314/15 Councillor C. Smyth - Work on Johnstown Road DLP/315/15 Councillor C. Smyth - Bollard on Corner of Convent Road / Convent Lane DLP/316/15 Councillor C. Smyth - Contra Flow for Cyclists along One-way section of Commons Road DLP/317/15 Councillor C. 4 DLP/319/15 Consultation with Garda Commissioner DLP/320/15 Ministerial / Departmental Correspondence DLP/321/15 Correspondence Received (a) Correspondence Issued on foot of a Committee Decision DLP/322/15 Other Correspondence (a) Correspondence Received (b) Correspondence Issued on foot of a Committee Decision DLP/323/15 Car park at the foot of Barnhill Road It was proposed by Councillor P. Stewart and seconded by Councillor J. Bailey That this Committee asks the Chief Executive to review the status of the free car park at the foot of the Barnhill Road with a view to introducing Pay and Display to be made available to local residents who have no off street parking. DLP/324/15 Traffic calming plans for Cross Avenue, Wolfe Tone Avenue, Desmond Avenue, Convent Road and Patrick Street It was proposed by Councillor M. Halpin and seconded by Councillor M. Merrigan That this Committee is updated on the traffic calming plans to make Cross Avenue, Wolfe Tone Avenue, Desmond Avenue, Convent Road and Patrick Street safe for residents and school goers.

5 DLP/325/15 Speed of Vehicles on Avondale Road, Killiney It proposed by Councillor C. Smyth and seconded by Councillor D. O Callaghan The request was brought to the attention of the Gardaí at the September Traffic Advisory Group (TAG) meeting. It was noted that Avondale Road has a speed limit of 50kph and has significant traffic calming measures along its length. DLP/326/15 Replacement of Industrial Style Fence for a section of Pottery Road It was proposed by Councillor M. Merrigan and seconded by Councillor J. Bailey That the Chief Executive provides details on any revised plan to replace the proposed erection of an industrial style fence for a section of Pottery Road with the more appropriate continuation of the new wall and railing to run the full length of the Amgen, National Rehabilitation Hospital and adjacent sites which would be in keeping with the overall objective, quality and integrity of the Pottery Road scheme and as was reasonably expected by the residents of this area. DLP/327/15 Reduction of daily Pay & Display Parking Rate on Hudson Road It was proposed by Councillor P. Stewart and seconded by Councillor J. Bailey The Parking Control Bye-Laws cover the regulations for parking in a Pay & Display space, suspension of bays, parking charges and Guidelines for the Implementation of Pay & Display Parking Control Schemes. A reduction in the parking charge on Hudson Road would be in line with local all-day parking charges currently in place on Marlborough Road, Station Road, St. Catherine s Road and Silchester Road. Hudson Road is a low demand parking area. If the Area Committee accepts the Motion to reduce the charges on Hudson Road the Parking Section will implement the required changes. The report of the Chief Executive was AGREED DLP/328/15 Monitoring Right Turning Vehicles from Lower Glenageary Road on to Eden Road Upper It was proposed by Councillor C. Smyth and seconded by Councillor K. Feeney

6 That the Chief Executive contacts An Garda Síochána and requests they monitor the right turning of vehicles from Lower Glenageary Road on to Eden Road Upper at Corrig Road/Eden Road Upper/ Lower Glenageary Road junction during morning peak time traffic. DLP/329/15 Request Dublin Bus's attendance It was proposed by Councillor M. Halpin and seconded by Councillor J. Bailey That this Committee agree to request Dublin Bus's attendance at this Committee to discuss the plans for the routes in the Dún Laoghaire area.
