4 Background 5 th Avenue Lofts is a condo built in 2005, and Security Warehouse is a 1911 building and condo conversion in the North Loop. They are currently managed by Gassen management and governed by one Owners Association. There are 185 units, mostly owner occupied.

12 Our Business Recycling Grant WHAT WE REQUESTED: 6 Bins from the county for Community Rooms and Exercise rooms $2, Table Tops: Full Circle Fresh Air Odor Free Compost $22.64 each..1, months of bio-bags from Litin for the tabletop Organics recycling by ASPEN hauling for 3 months at $109/month GRAND TOTAL $5, We had also asked for $1,000.00for an educational soiree but that was nixed.

23 What Helped Talking to Sol Tva and Sol Havn Apartments Their buildings are built for organics recycling It s a plus for the building to offer Working with Hennepin County Environment and Energy: Taking the Master Recycling Training Having Master Recycler Volunteers to help Carolyn Collopy, Kirsten Wahlberg and Andre X Xiong Having a really supportive, gung-ho, new Building Manager to support roll out the program Residents continuing to express how much they like it and how much organics recycling has reduced their trash Being part of a great E-Team of residents with knowledge and diverse experience
