2 Below you will find the house rules of City Resort Leiden. We kindly request you to respect and accept these rules. GENERAL RULES: 3 City Resort Hotel Leiden is not responsible for the loss or theft of your belongings. 3 The management, the owner of this location and / or persons who works for the hotel, cannot be held liable for any injury and / or material or immaterial damage that visitors of the site might experience. 3 We ask you to return lost items to the hotel IT IS PROHIBITED TO: 3 Use emergency exits as normal exits or entrances. 3 Take belongings of the hotel outside the building. You will be liable for the repair and / or renewal costs if you intentionally damage the belongings of City Resort Leiden. 3 To consume, use, trade or possess narcotic drugs. 3 To cause inconvenience to other persons, for example through loud music, obnoxious behaviour or by noise of any kind. 3 Smoke in the room. As soon as we notice that people smoke or have smoked in the room, we will charge cleaning costs. General

FIRE ALARM 1 When you hear the fire alarm remain calm and leave your room. 2 Leave your luggage in your hotel room. 3 Follow the instructions on the escape plan next to the door in the room. 4 Do not use the elevators when you hear the alarm, use the stairs. 5 Assembling point square: In front of the head entrance. Follow the instructions provided by the staff and our fire department. FIRE 3 When you discover a fire please report this immediately or break the glass of the fire detector. You can find the location on the map in your hotel room. Hotel reception: 2800 Emergency number: 112 ACCIDENT 3 Call the reception desk staff via telephone number 2800 or call the emergency number Identify yourself, and briefly let the staff know about the incident and where you are. 3 Stay with the victim until the emergency medic arrives. Officer is present and follow his/her instructions. Important INFORMATION PHARMACY You can find a pharmacy at the Leiden University Medical Centre. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 08:00-18:00. For emergencies, you can go to the emergency department at the Leiden University Medical Centre.

4 RESTAURANT, BAR, & LOUNGE There are several locations where we serve food in City Resort Hotel Leiden. Here you can enjoy dinner after an exhaustive workout, a relaxed wellness day, an intensive meeting, or just because you want to enjoy the atmosphere of this special location. In case you use our wellness, you may decide to dine in the restaurant of Vitae Wellness resort Leiden. We would like to introduce you to our two high level gastronomic facilities. TWELVE - 12TH FLOOR Restaurant Twelve is the restaurant with the most beautiful panoramic view over the dunes. Here you can enjoy delicious food, a drink or one of our homemade cocktails. The restaurant is open 7 days a week, throughout the year. You can enjoy a 3-course dinner of your choice for per person. 5 A ACCESSIBILITY / PUBLIC TRANSPORT City Resort Hotel Leiden is located in the heart of the city centre and is directly located next to Leiden Central Station. Therefore it is easy to get to our hotel by means of public transportation (train). Leiden is within easy reach of highway A4 and A44 and therefore you can easily travel by car. The bus stop behind the central station is only one minute away from City Resort Hotel Leiden. There is a splendid bus transportation to Noordwijk beach or Katwijk aan Zee. There is also a direct line available if you are planning to visit the Keukenhof. ACTIVITIES City Resort Hotel Leiden is located in the heart of the city centre, directly next to Central Station and Leiden University Medical Centre. The hotel is within walking distance of the historic town, and it just takes a 20 minutes drive to Schiphol, the dunes and the beautiful beaches of Katwijk and Noordwijk. In other words; it is a perfect location for business meetings and it is a great starting point for day trips, bike and walking trails and fun excursions. You can contact our front office for more information regarding the activities of City Resort Hotel Leiden and/or its surroundings. The staff will gladly inform you about these activities and points of interests in the surrounding area of Leiden. You will find more information in this brochure. B BABY BED Baby beds are available upon request. In some rooms we are not able to place a baby bed. BEACH & DUNES City Resort Hotel Leiden is the perfect starting point for a day at the beach of Noordwijk or Katwijk aan Zee. These famous coastal towns provide the perfect surroundings for sunbathing, swimming in the sea and a walk through the dunes. BIKE RENTAL It is possible to rent a bicycle at the hotel reception. Costs are for the first 24-hours and for the following day. BREAKFAST Breakfast is served between AM and AM on weekdays in Restaurant Twelve, located on the 12th floor. Breakfast is served between AM and AM in the weekend. BREAKFAST ROOM SERVICE At a surcharge we provide Room service Breakfast. In the back of this folder you will find a form on which you can note down your choices. Please return the selection list to the receptionist before a.m. After you have enjoyed your breakfast, you may place the serving trolley in the hallway. C CHECK-IN / check-out Check-in: From PM onwards your room is available. Check-out: Not later than AM. CITY RESORT HOTEL LEIDEN This is a multifunction complex including sports, wellness, restaurants, hospitality, conventions and events. Guests of City Resort Hotel Leiden can use the Fitland sports facilities for free. Additionally, there are attractive rates available for the wellness resort. CITY WALKING TOUR Leiden has a compact city centre and therefore it is a good place to discover on your own. The best way to get a historical view of Leiden is to walk through the city centre. The facades, streets, alleys, courtyards; they all tell their own story. There are several guided tours available. CLIMAT CONTROL SYSTEM All rooms are equipped with a Climate Control System. It is possible to set the system three degrees colder or three degrees warmer. This can be done via the thermostat which can be found on the wall in your room. If the temperature is not convenient for you, you can contact the hotel reception. CREDIT CARDS American Express, Eurocards, Mastercards and Visa are accepted. We do not exchange cash with credit cards. D DISABLED PERSON The hotel has 3 rooms available for disabled persons. These rooms can be found on the 9th floor. DOCTOR/DENTIST If you need a doctor or dentist please contact the reception desk. DO NOT DISTURB You will find a do not disturb card in your room. When you do not want to be disturbed you can hang this card in the hallway on the door handle of the door of your room.

6 E EMERGENCY EXIT For your own safety we advise you to check the emergency exits when you arrive at the hotel. The emergency exits are situated directly next to the elevator units in the building. In your hotel room you find an escape plan that displays the escape routes and the nearest emergency exit. The elevator is out of service during the fire alarm, use the stairs. EXTRA COMFORTER OR PILLOW At the reception desk you can request an extra duvet and pillow. All our pillows and duvets are made of synthetic down. F FEEDBACK We will do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible. If you have feedback (or a suggestion) you can inform the receptionist about it. They will note your feedback or suggestion and make sure it will be dealt with as soon as possible. FIRST AID A first aid kit is available at the reception desk. FLOWERS Do you have a party during your stay in our hotel or would you like to surprise someone with a flower arrangement? Let us know, it s our pleasure to arrange your request. FYSIO The fysio is focusing on how to rehabilitate and optimize the use of your body. Our Physicians have an individual approach, meant to get you quickly and effectively as possible to your desired level. Health Central is located on the ground floor in Sports Centre Fitland. For more information about telephone numbers, opening hours and the greenfee, please contact the reception desk. GUEST SATISFACTION Are you satisfied? Share your story by leaving a review on H HAIR DRYER A hair dryer is provided in your bathroom. You must first turn on the switch on the container of the hair dryer, after switching this on, the hair dryer can be used. HOTEL RECEPTION The hotel reception is open 24 hours a day and can be reached at number For tourist information you can also contact the hotel reception. The outside door is closed between 11 pm and 7 am. With your name and room number, you can report via the intercom, the night porter will open the door for you. HOUSEKEEPING Every day your room will be cleaned by a team of professionals. The team is at your service between and hrs. We value the environment and will only replace the towels that are on the floor. For longer stays, your bed linen will be changed once every 3 days. Of course we are happy to take your preferences and wishes into account, please inform the hotel reception about you preferences. I INTERNET All our hotel rooms and public areas have free Wi-Fi. K KEY OF THE ROOM During your stay you are responsible of your own key card. You can hand it in at moment of check-out. It functions as an activator of the electricity services in your room. To activate this you have to stick your card into the case and leave it in. L LAUNDRY SERVICE / DRY CLEANING If you have laundry for the dry cleaning / laundry service, you can inform the staff at the reception desk before AM. It will be ready in the evening. This service is not available in the weekends. You will find a laundry sack and laundry list in your wardrobe closet.

LUGGAGE ROOM At the hotel reception you will find a luggage cart which you can use to bring your luggage upstairs. We also have a luggage room where your luggage can be stored. You can contact the porter by calling 2800 or by calling the regular telephone number +31 (0) P PARKING At a charge, you can park your car in the garage of the Level building. The rate is calculated per full hour ( 1 75 per hour) with a maximum of per 24 hours. If you need your car during your stay, you can leave the garage and the cost will be booked to your room. PETS Pets are not allowed in the hotel and the restaurants. PLUG ADAPTOR You can lend a plug adapter at the reception desk. (call 2800). POINTS OF INTERESTS Naturalis Biodiversity Centre Naturalis Biodiversity Centre is a research institute and the museum of natural history in Leiden. Opening hours: every day from AM PM. Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde The Rijksmuseum Volkenkunde is a national museum in Leiden. Aside from to the regular collection the icons of Volkenkunde, there is always another contemporary exhibition as well. Openings hours: Tuesday thru Sunday AM PM* *open on Monday in July and August. Hortus Botanicus Leiden The Hortus Botanicus Leiden is the oldest still existing botanic garden of the Netherlands. RESPONSIBILITY The direction of City Resort Hotel Leiden is not responsible for loss or damage of your personal belongings that are either located in your hotel room or not. There is a safe in your room that you can use free of charge to store your valuables.

8 RESTAURANT Good food and delicious drinks are part of the experience at City Resort Hotel Leiden. Our restaurant Twelve in Level will take care of all your wishes, like a special breakfast, a lovely lunch or culinary dinner. ROOM SERVICE It is possible to order room service between and hrs. Please call number At the back of the hotel directory you will find the room service menu. We charge a room service charge of 7 50 per order. ROOM KEY Upon check in you will receive a room key. This key must also be used for the power supply in the room. 1 Hold the card against the card reader by the door handle. 2 If you see green light, you can open the door. 3 Insert the card into the wall holder in the room next to the door to witch on the electricity. An additional room key is available at the hotel reception on request. S SAFE There is a save available in your room. Manual: 1 Close the door of the vault. 2 Enter a code consisting of 4 digits. 3 Press the # button. 4 The word closed will appear in the screen. 5 Enter your 4 digits security code again. The door of the vault opens again. We request to leave the door open at the day of departure. We are not responsible for loss or theft of your belongings. SHOE POLISH MACHINE The shoe polisher is located on the 10th floor opposite the lift in building C. SMOKING Smoking is strictly prohibited, except in the cigar lounge on the 2nd floor. For violations of the non-smoking policy, we will charge you SHOPPING IN LEIDEN Leiden is the place to be for shopping. Lovely shops are located in the narrow streets and next to the channels. Aside from the well-known chains you will find many specialty, vintage and gastronomy stores in Leiden. Burgsteeg Nieuwstraat. In this medieval part of Leiden you seem to go back in time. It is an excellent place to find antique and bric-a-brac. De Hogewoerd is located just outside the shopping area and there you will find many extraordinary specialty stores here. De Nieuwe Rijn is a lovely channel in the city centre of Leiden. The channel is surrounded by many small shops and of course many restaurants. De Botermarkt is well-known because of its many cafés and restaurants. It is up to you to choose. The Haarlemmerstraat is the largest shopping street of Leiden. You can find large department stores, but also local stores are located in this street. SPORTS Guests of City Resort Hotel Leiden can use the Fitland sports facilities free of charge, within the opening hours. Here you can find a compact list of our facilities. Fitness -Fast Fit - Small Group Fitness - ifit - Freemotion cardio - Selectorized power - Rip: 60 - Personal training (LAPT). Fitland sports facilities are open from AM thru PM on weekdays and from AM thru PM in the weekend. The cardio section is open 24 hours a day. SUN TANNING BEDS There are various Ergoline sun tanning beds available on the 11th floor, please call the hotel reception (call 2803). SURROUNDING AREA Leiden is a vivid city located in the centre of the province of Zuid-Holland, in the middle of the Bollenstreek. Amsterdam, Den Haag, Delft and Rotterdam are perfectly within reach by public transport or by car. SWIMMING POOL You can use the swimming pool free of charge from hrs. You reach our swimming pool by taking the elevator to the 12th floor and from here take the stairs to the wellness on the 11th floor. The changing rooms are located on this floor. From here you can enter the swimming pool through the roof terrace. Please wear you swim suit during these hours.

9 T TAXI A taxi can be ordered at the hotel reception. Please note that if you order a taxi on the day itself it will take 15 minutes before it will arrive. It is also possible to order a taxi for the next day. TELEPHONE A telephone with a direct outbound line is available in your room. Dial 0 to use the outbound line. The costs will be charged upon your hotel check. For intern calls you just have to call the 4 digit number and you will be able to contact the preferred department.
