2 Event snapshots The fourth edition of Best Stay event was again held in a new location, in Dubrovnik, on Nov With new formats and focus on new trends in tourism, Best Stay attracted more than 250 attendees, including leading representatives of the following companies: The Chedi Luštica Bay, Bluesun Hotels & Resorts, Falkensteiner Resort Borik, Courtyard by Marriott Belgrade City Center, Dubrovnik Riviera Hotels, Lešić Dimitri Palace, Hotel Monte Mulini, Hotel Bellevue, Mali Lošinj, Hotel Gotham, Hotel Mepas, Kempinski Palace Portorož, Maistra, AccorHotels, Radisson Blu Old Mill Hotel, Rixos Libertas Dubrovnik, Valamar Riviera, Julius Meinl, Importanne Hotels & Resort, Samsung, Crowne Plaza Belgrade, Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel and many others. The main topics of the event included education for tourism professionals, new and innovative ways to enhance the guest experience and top revenue trends. Specific areas of the conference programme were dedicated to rewarding guests and staff, finding and mastering the niche market as well as attracting and retaining talent in hospitality. At Best Stay 2018, we focused on stories about real people, real life examples, real problems and how to solve them. The spotlight was on case studies from Maistra, Valamar, Kempinski, Do&Co Group and many more, who shared their secrets to success. ATTENDEES Best Stay 2018 event had an international character, as attendees flocked to Dubrovnik from the whole Southeastern Europe region and further in Europe, the UK and US. Although most attendees were from, the event attracted over 40% of attendees from Slovenia,, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Italy, Germany, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Netherlands, USA, Denmark, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand and UK.
