Place names in bold refer to the end of this document, where shops, places to stay and / or services are listed. 0.0 km VEZELAY (AHR-AJ-CH-CH-HR) (shops and services) from the basilica, walk down through the Saint-Pierre and Saint-Etienne streets to the Porte du Barle. 0.6 km turn left onto the D957, direction Saint-Père and Avallon. 0.7 km at the intersection: continue straight on the D km in the bend: turn right onto a gravel road (marked GR654). 1.0 km bifurcation: turn left (view towards the church tower of Saint-Père, down in the valley). 1.7 km crossing: straight ahead. 2.4 km unpaved road turns into a paved road: enter Saint-Père via the Chemin de Saint-Christophe; after 50m, at the crossroads: continue straight ahead. 2.5 km fork: take the middle street Rue des Pierres. 2 2.6 km intersection with the D958 (Well): turn left, towards the church. Continue past the church, go straight on the D km intersection with the D957 ("Stop"): turn right, cross the Cure (attention: busy road). 3.1 km after the bridge: turn right, onto the D36, direction Usy and Quarré-les-Tombes. 3.6 km leave the D36 and turn right into a dirt road, on the corner of the camping site (phone booth). 5.3 km pass a stream. 5.4 km intersection with the D53: continue on the dirt road, through the fields. 6.8 km arrival on the D353, in Précy-le-Moult: turn right. 50m further: square with the town hall of Pierre- Perthuis: continue on the D353, which turns to the right. 7.2 km ignore the little road to the right (to La Roche Percée) and continue on the D km arrival in Pierre-Perthuis (on the left a monument to fallen soldiers, on the right a cross). 7.9 km bridge over the Cure. 8.1 km Pierre-Perthuis: church (on the right, up). Cross the village, through the fortified gate. Turn left before the D958: a small road that descends towards Les deux ponts (Rue des Deux-Ponts). 8.3 km crossroads: continue left, down. 8.4 km leave the road at a turn and take the path opposite.
