TRAVEL INFORMATION BY ROAD Be prepared: It is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with local road rules and abide by them. Most European countries have a list of compulsy equipment that you must take with you. F example, there is a new legal requirement in France to carry a breathalyser in your car. F driving advice and a list of the equipment you ll need, please visit GPS Co-dinates: E ` N ` Directions from Calais: Follow signs to Paris/Reims/Metz (A26 Motway) - take A26 to Reims - through Reims follow autoute signs to Chalons-sur-Marne. Then follow signs A26 Dijon/Langres joining A31 just nth of Langres. Take exit 6 marked Langres Sud and Gray. Turn right onto D428 - follow signs to Longeau - at Longeau traffic lights follow D67 to Gray. At Gray continue straight in and cross the river bridge - at roundabout on far side of the bridge take last exit (Avenue Carnot - Hotel Au Mastroquet on cner) - take 2nd left near hotel Fer a Cheval - go straight through public car park behind the hotel and Le Boat is on the right. Road distance approximately 570 kms 5.5 hrs. Directions from Paris: Take the Auto route du Soleil (A6). Leave at junction signposted Pouilly en Auxois onto A38 to Dijon. On arriving at Dijon follow signs to Gray on D70. At Gray cross the river bridge and at roundabout turn left, then left again at Hotel le Fer a

2 Cheval - go straight through the public car park behind the hotel and Le Boat is on the right. Road distance approximately 350 kms 3.5 hrs. Directions from Besancon: After the second roundabout, take the D67 to Gray. Upon arriving at Gray turn right at the Hotel Le Fer a Cheval - go straight through the public car park behind the hotel and Le Boat is on the right. Road distance approx. 49kms/50mins. TAXI TRANSFERS If you are arriving by plane train, we can arrange f a taxi to transfer you to and from the base at negotiated prices. 3 CAR TRANSFERS (FOR ONEWAY CRUISES) If you are doing a one-way cruise (i.e. returning your boat to a different base), we can transfer your car from your departure base to your end base. Our staff are insured to drive your vehicle on your behalf, with the exception of rental vehicles. Car transfers are bookable in advance via our sales team. Start Base End Base Transfer Supplement Gray Branges R2565 Gray Fontenoy le Château R2115 Gray St Jean de Losne R1410 YOUR ARRIVAL BASE OPENING HOURS Monday Thursday: 09:00-12:30 and 14:00-17:30 Friday Sunday: 08:30-12:30 and 13:30-18:00 WHEN TO ARRIVE: Your boat will be ready to depart f 16:00-17:30. We recommend that you arrive 60 minutes earlier f check-in and instructions. If you have booked an Early Check-in Service, please arrive at the base ready to depart between 11am and 12pm from 2pm. LATE ARRIVALS: If you are going to be arriving at the base late, you will need to infm the base directly our sales team. When you arrive at the base there will be a note on the reception do infming you where your boat is. The boat will be left open with the lights on f you to stay on board that night. The base staff will do the full briefing the following mning. UPON ARRIVAL: Our base staff look fward to welcoming you to their cruising region and aim to make your arrival and holiday as smooth and enjoyable as possible. When you arrive our base staff will: Take a fuel deposit to cover the fuel you use during your holiday. Any extra fuel used will be charged on your return we will refund the difference f fuel you have not used. Take a refundable collision damage deposit if you have not purchased collision damage waiver. This will be refunded if you return your boat and its inventy undamaged at the end of your holiday Familiarise you with your waterways guide, maps and other helpful documentation provided to help you plan where you want to go and where you d like to stop. Brief you about your boat, the equipment on board, and the cruising area (places to visit, etc). Give you a boat handling demonstration on the water with one of our technicians.

You can also purchase a licence from the fishing tackle shops across the bridge from the base. MARKET DAYS There is a market every Saturday mning next to the base in Gray until 12:30 YOUR RETURN Your boat should be returned and unoccupied by 9am on your last cruising day ( by midday if you have booked a Late Check-out).
