Each day campers will spend time in the pool working on stroke technique while also participating in traditional camp activities such as team building, character development, and arts and crafts out of the pool. Follow the step-by-step building plans and ignite your inner engineer by using your imagination to transform your model into something unique. Join us for this fun-filled camp where you ll use your creativity and engineering skills to build and transform! Week 7 (July 9-13) Brick-a-Palooza We ve combined the best of the best Bricks 4 Kidz camps including Minecraft, Space Adventures, Super Heroes, Ninjago and Pokemon! Builders will build our special Bricks 4 Kidz models using motors and remote controls using LEGO components to create dynamic vehicles, inventions, machines and more based on their own unique interests. This camp is perfect for budding builders! Mad Science Ages: Rising 1st-2nd & Dates: see below Week 4 (8-22) Crazy Chemworks Delve into the world of atoms, molecules and chemical reactions. From the super tiny to the super slimey, this fun, hands-on and interactive program for children ages 6-12 sends them on a fascinating journey of exploration and discovery! Get introduced to lab equipment, discover how and why things glow, and investigate the science of Stickyness. Test ph with different indicators and find out why acids and bases don t get along. Investigate the science of COLD! Lots of cool daily take homes to stock your new home lab. Week 9 (July 23-27) Mad Machines & Engineering Mania Whether you love to build things or destroy them, this of camp includes lots of both! Junior engineers will design and build bridges and skyscrapers using simple tools and their imaginations and even construct a geodesic dome big enough for all the campers to sit inside! Build a take home puzzle that may even stump your parents! Then the machine madness starts... Discover how many different machines, simple & complex, we use in our daily lives. Campers will have fun building their own catapults to take home and will design simple machines using pulleys, wedges, screws and levers. Swim Stroke Skills and Drills Campers will develop their competitive swimming strokes (including starts and turns) through stroke technique drills. This camp is sure to increase your heart rate and engage in critical thinking skills.
